Really cool speakeasy style bar. Me and my friend arrived on a Monday night and had the whole bar to ourselves for a bit, great bartender and amazing cocktails, attentive service. A bit expensive but it’s LA, would love to come back. The Necromancer was 🔥

They have ridiculously overpriced cocktails. At 30 bucks a pop, a cocktail better impress, and these sadly do not. All about this place screams surface level facade. It's a pseudo speakeasy type place where all the decorations, ambiance, and drinks look ok at a quick glance but if you pay attention you'll notice how cheap everything is.

The cocktails are pricey but they're delicious, and the vibe is worth a few extra bucks for 2 drinks. Chill speakeasy lounge type atmosphere where the bartender spins records that the customers choose from a big wall of vinyl. Never too crowded and mellow enough that you can actually have a conversation over drinks with good music in the background.

Awesome speakeasy tucked away above 800 Degrees pizza. The bartender, Justin, is probably the best mixologist in Los Angeles. Amazing cocktail menu. And if you're not sure what to order, Justin suggests cocktails based on your drink preferences. Wonderful personalized service rarely seen in Hollywood. And an awesome selection of vinyl that you can play all night long. Bring your friends for a great evening at a very unique space. Highly recommend.

I had the BEST experience here! I ordered a premium drink from a premium bartender and I loved it :) First time at this hidden gem bar and definitely won’t be my last. The drink menu is extensive and on point! The bartender politely let me know I ordered a premium drink so I wouldn’t be surprised as other customers have been in the past by the price point. I really appreciated that! And The drink was 100% worth it :)

Came in late around midnight was surprised how hard it was to get a seat on a Tuesday. Apparently it’s more of a late night spot. I ordered a Negroni and a lychee. The bartender went through a whole explanation on how to make a proper Negroni and taught our group about all the intricacies of different gins and vermouths to make a good version. It was so interesting to learn from a master of the craft. Ended up going with the mushroom gin and some sort of americano vermouth and it was outstanding. It would have been nice to have more time to chat but it was too busy. Was offered to bring my own vinyl to play next time. Great atmosphere and drinks, will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I’ve loved this place for years. Not sure what is wrong with the bartender but the place was EMPTY - didn’t want us to sit on the couches in case it got busy?!?
I ordered a “premium” drink to which he asked - “are you sure??? That’s a premium drink” yes and? This guy has serious issues. I’m so embarrassed I invited a bunch of friends to meet me here after raving about it and I couldn’t wait to leave. Such a shame. So embarrassing. Do better, maybe you wouldn’t be empty at 8pm if you had a competent bartender who wasn’t rude to guests from the moment they walked in. I’m mortified.

I love this place, but the prices are really insane. Its a super cute speakeasy, and the vibe is great, as are the cocktails. Its one thing if you have a few $30-50 cocktails on your menu as specialty items but I feel like the average drink here is $25. Which I think results in a lot of people just getting A beer.

Bad drinks, terrible service, I have never posted a bad review online before, but this one deserves it. That bad.

It’s too bad, because the concept of the place is cool, but it seems that most of the good reviews are old, because the place was dingy and empty and all of our group’s drinks (different $20 drinks) were all bad. It’s not like one drink wasn’t to our liking, none of the drinks that our group had were good. For the price you’re paying, the drinks should be at least decent.

When we spoke with the manager, the service was even worse from them. Will never return.

Supposed to be a speakeasy. Surfaces are all kind of weirdly sticky and furniture smells bad. The drink prices are really high and not even served as described. I like that it's kinda quiet though.
