The menu increases in prices from left to right. The bartenders will not tell you if you ordered one of the most expensive drinks. It's optimized to scam customers. I reported this on the better business bureau. If you go, be careful because it was clear that the goal was to trick customers into overpriced drinks.

A perfectly dive-y speakeasy with great specialty cocktails!
But how do you find it??

I asked the bar tender with the nose ring to give me a drink but he was busy flirting with a girl just seemed so unprofessional. I understand with wanting to flirt with a girl but not on company time. Just very unprofessional experience overall. Took forever just to get a drink.

Sunset and Vinyl in Los Angeles is a gem of a hidden bar that offers a unique and intimate vibe. Tucked away and easy to miss, it feels like you've discovered a secret spot in the city. The atmosphere is cozy, with vinyl records playing in the background, adding to the laid-back, retro feel. The drinks are well-crafted, and the service is always friendly. If you're looking for a cool, off-the-beaten-path place to unwind, this bar is definitely worth checking out.

I'm not sure why this rated so high on Google or Apple Maps. The drinks were mediocre, one of the bar tenders was totally rude, and the atmosphere is more dingy than anything. Overall, not the worst place, but won't be returning.

Scumbag pizza host up front was a racist jerk to our guest. We left and will never return. Do not recommend patronizing this business.

This is a very chill speakeasy with cool vibes. Record plays continuously spinning, and you can choose your own records. The bartender will change the records for you. The drinks are astronomically priced, but they are very high-quality and taste exceptionally well. The entrance is through a pizza place past the restrooms up the stairs, so it’s very speakeasy Feel. I highly recommend visiting just for the ambience.

Super cool speakeasy with actual vinyls you can choose to play. Drinks are great, very refreshing. This is a bar upstairs from the pizza place. Entrance is all the way in the back of the pizza place, up the stairs.

Sunset & Vinyl is the kind of place that makes you say, 'You've got to put some miles on your soul!' as Quincy Jones would put it. When my partner's cousin breezed into town, we stumbled upon this not-your-average-bar while hunting for a chill spot. I mean, sure, we've seen our share of themed bars – from galaxies far, far away to culinary wonderlands. But Sunset & Vinyl? It's like stepping into your cool uncle's secret hideout, where the only currency is good vibes and even better music. Picture this: you're lounging, sipping on expertly crafted cocktails, surrounded by the soulful crackle of vinyl records. And get this – you can play DJ, picking out your own album to spin on the turntable. Talk about a vibe! This place is sneakier than a cat burglar. Tucked away above another eatery, it's like a speakeasy for music lovers. You weave through a restaurant, up the stairs, down a corridor and bam – welcome to the coolest joint in town. The crowd? As diverse as a box of crayons. Young, old, in-between, every color and flavor – it's like a human rainbow chilling out together. The drinks? So good they'll make you forget your ex's name. The bartenders are like wizards with a shaker. My crew and I hung out, spinning records and sipping on magic potions for hours. It's a spot where you can actually feel safe while letting your hair down in Hollywood. Don't walk, run to Sunset & Vinyl. It's not just a bar, it's an experience!
Parking: You'll have to locate parking on the street or in a parking lot near the building and then walk over.
Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think they have an elevator.
