Supersweet Tattoos and Coffee

My friend and I came here for matching tattoos, we each booked the same time with different artists, mine with Alexa, hers with Sofia. Alexa was incredible and did an amazing job. Sofia was running behind with a tattoo, which is fine. Alexa said she would do my friends as well which was incredibly kind of her. Sofia was not even the one to tell us she wasn’t doing the tattoo, in fact she did not acknowledge or speak to us once. She had plenty of time to step away from the tattoo she was doing to go kiss and talk to her boyfriend who came in, but not a moment to apologize for running over and thanking Alexa for doing it for her? She finished before I was done with mine so still could’ve easily done it, and even overheard her say she had no plans tonight. Just overall horrible bedside manner from Sofia and I was incredibly disappointed in her, what a bad attitude. We appreciate Alexa being flexible and doing an incredible job. It would be one star if Alexa hadn’t been so great.

Emily just gave me this super cute tattoo on my forearm--I'm obsessed! It was my first time at this studio, and I had such a great experience. She gave me great suggestions about placement and sizing to keep it looking great with age. She even printed a few different sizes so that I could see what fit best. Excited to get more by her as soon as I can!

We visited Supersweet Tattoos for matching tattoos in a design we already had in mind. We were delighted to work with Amy on a virtual consultation, and she put her own small touches on the design to really bring it to life. Making the final appointment and putting down the deposit online were quick and easy - not a process I’ve done with other shops before, but one that I’ve come to appreciate because it means the shop takes out time seriously. When we arrived for our appointment, we were impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the shop. Easily one of the loveliest tattoo parlors I’ve ever seen! The waiting area is cozy and the process from start to finish was really comfortable. Amy did a stellar job with our tattoos and we will absolutely return to her again for a tattoo in the future. Highly recommend this shop! My only regret is that we were having too much fun that we forgot to try their teas and coffees - but we will rectify that on a future visit!

Requested style: We liked that the portfolios of the artists were listed on the website, so we could find someone whose style matched what we were looking for. We loved Amy’s fine line work and delicate hand, and were so happy with how our tattoos turned out!

Cleanliness: Amy has a focus on cleanliness and we watched as she methodically cleaned and reset her station after each tattoo.

I love this place so much. The coffee is great and vibes are excellent. It's so fun to come in for a drink, look at flash and plan a tattoo or get one day of. Three of my friends got flash day of and they loved it. My artist was Alyssa. I cannot recommend her enough. She talented, was so kind and really treated me like a person, not a transaction. She made sure my tattoo was in the exact right placement and also made sure the shading was what I wanted. So lovely and so happy with the work! Thank you again Alyssa!!

I recently got a piece done by Alyssa , and I couldn’t be happier! The line work is precise, and the shading is flawless. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and their studio was incredibly clean. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me a piece I’m proud to show off. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Stopped by for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised. The space is gorgeous. The customer service top notch. They are in full Halloween spirit and their coffee specials and decor reflect that! Ordered a matcha latte, was great. I walked here, however parking might be tough directly in front of it. Best bet is down Montana or further down Glendale near park.

Worst tattoo experience ever. I had been wanting to come here for a very long time, I had seen it a few times on my drives in LA, and finally decided to try it. I went in for my appointment and found out it had been canceled, this was super irritating as I had driven an hour and a half from my house to get there, and they didn’t call to let me know they emailed, which I don’t think anyone checks their email that often, plus I had already driven all that way and the email wasn’t a far enough in advance of a notice. Anyways they rescheduled me, so I came in the next week, which was another hour and thirty minute drive for me and my artist cancels again via email because she had a headache. I asked to have someone else do it, and the original artist ends up deciding to do it. I get there and she didn’t have my tattoo sketched up at all even though I had already sent the design. From there it only got worse, she was not very friendly, which made my experience worse and my tiny tiny very dainty tattoo was nearly $300, which is just crazy. I’ve had way better tattoos from different places that were not anything close to that. About a month later my tattoos faded, I had to go back for a touch up, and she went on to tell me it’s because of how dainty they are, but again I have tons of dainty amazing tattoos and I’ve never had them fade like that. Overall I’m sad because I’m not some crazy picky person, I just like to have a good experience when I do things and I was so stoked to come here and sadly had the worse time possible. Would not recommend this place at all.

Price for size & what we got was great and she was very friendly ☺️, didn't like my placement of the Stencil and she was willing to change it as many times as I wanted. She was fast as well and the tattoo came out great.

I found Supersweet when I was on vacation in California in 2022. I read their online reviews and decided to take a chance.

I remember being so nervous, since I’d previously had a negative experience with an artist before. However, that changed when I walked into Supersweet and met Kellan.

From when he was an apprentice until now Kellan has shown that he’s a skilled artist. He has always been able to bring my tattoo ideas to life in the best possible way (with so much color ?). He’s welcoming, kind and you can tell he really cares about both the people he tattoos as well as his art.

This past week was my third visit back to Supersweet. I already can’t wait until the next time. Grateful that I found them and Kellan ??

Family bonding experience made perfect by Kellan and Supersweet. Kellan went out of his way to make us newbies comfortable and sure about what we wanted and what to expect. He was very patient and accommodating which dispelled our anxiety. We were all thrilled with our results and thankful we had Kellan to make the experience a perfect memorable one. Supersweet is a great venue. It is clean and comfortable and they have a nice variety of beverages for sale while you wait. Highly recommend both the venue and Kellan!!

Cleanliness: Supersweet is very clean and comfortable. Kellan was careful to keep the area clean while tattooing, wore gloves, and reset the area each time he started anew with us four.

Stylist: Kellan helped us create our designs which were to be shared by our 4 family members.

I am absolutely impressed by my experience at this shop! I found the shop online when researching for a place to get tattoos with my bestie during my visitin LA! The whole experience was fantastic! It was her first tattoo and Misfit was great at explaining things to her during.
For me, I was so excited to find a Latina artist and loved Misfit's artwork and professionalism through messages when discussing what we wanted. The final design is perfect!?
Bonus: The coffee & tea we ordered, YUM!

This shop is so cute! I’ve been following them on instagram and lot of the artists are so good! I finally decided to go with Aimee and I am so happy I did. She does beautiful elegant line work and that’s exactly what I wanted. She did this amazing half sleeve on me and I am so happy with the results. I’ll definitely be coming back for more tattoos and coffee in the future.

Came in with my boyfriend expecting to be able to sit and talk to him while he got his tattoo touched up. Turns out I’m not even allowed in the parlor part of the shop because I’m not getting a tattoo. What a way to make people feel unwelcome in a supposedly “friendly” environment. Coffee was mid. Not worth the $6. And no to mention I couldn’t use the bathroom because again I wasn’t getting a tattoo. I do not recommend this place. Their prices are ridiculously high and unnecessary. Will never come back
