Yuppp. This was a nice surprise. Like a family owned hole in the wall. Almost don’t want to review it and keep it to myself. Had the mushroom soup and vegetable only friend glass noodle. Literally the best flavor and the perfect amount for 2. Service was prompt and price was RIGHT! They do have some pairing out back and the area is not too congested.
The food here is very tasty and the sides are well seasoned with different flavors and textures. Favorites were the kimchi and radish. You can get their tofu soup with another main dish - we got the corvina.
I went here to try to find LA's best bibimbap by eating only that for a whole week. I thought this one was fine, it was on a traditional stone plate and sizzled the right amount. However they put some ingredients like lettuce which do not usually appear traditionally in a bibimbap.
