This shattered my stereotype idea of a Kosher restaurant. I have only eaten at a Kosher restaurant once or twice before and did not care for the food. My wife and I went this time to Ditmas to visit with friends from out of town who observe Kosher dietary laws. Well, what a surprise. The food prep is worthy of any fine dining restaurant. Service friendly and attentive. Very creative appetizers representing a variety of cuisines. Entrees are varied and portions generous. I had a hanger steak that was as tasty and well seasoned as any I have ever had. This is a fine dining restaurant that follows Kosher preparation rules. would definitely go back.

perhaps we woud have had better service had we sat in dining room instead of in booth in bar area, food came out by different servers, at different times instead of at the same correct time, i.e appetizers vs. entrees. the food was tasty and good and nicely presented.
