Food was blend. My waiter was Melissa and upon asking for Lemon for my soup she said they don't have any. Then when I asked for more water she literally served me warm water. And I told her I would like ice water just like the previous cup she said they did not have any.

This Japanese restaurant had good food with affordable price. Tempura is very light and crunchy. Salmon bento is very good. Salmon sweet and salty. Tonkashu bento also good. Crunchy outside. Each bento also have sushi and tempura. Staff are friendly too. During busy hours, there might be a wait to get staff attention. Bento size is quite big. This restaurant inside little Tokyo, consider good size for large or small groups. Very convenient with public transport, it is walking distance to train station. Lots of sofa seats, comfortable seating arrangements.

We went 2 times in 6 weeks. A great experience. 1st time we sat in the restaurant. The 2nd time we called it in and took it to go. Online ordering we did not see the specific Los Angeles location listed. Both times the food was great! I did have a slight problem with the wasabi (think Mater in Cars 2). I got over it. So will you if it happens to you. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Good variety of food, good service and reasonable price in California. You can get food of small portion at about 10 USD to a whole set meal of more 20 USD.

Food was not that great. Sushi roll didn’t have much flavor and the meat was dry even after adding terriyaki sauce. Fried tempura was good but I wouldn’t come back. Service was not the greatest, we waited 15 mins and eventually had to call the server to get us water and our order and it wasn’t full, Small restaurant. Staff was friendly just lagged, we had to flag them down to bring the bill and they never checked in with us.

My ramen was delicious and bold with flavors. It was the perfect lunch for me and my baby. Our server was very nice and attentive. Right in the middle of little Tokyo. My son loved the broth and I really enjoyed the chilli oil with each of my bites. Definitely need to go back soon and try the baked sushi! Everything looked so good and the serving was perfect. Don't think about it just go try it out for yourself!

We came in by chance without looking at the reviews and completely wasted our hunger. We ordered the shrimp tempura udon and from the first sip of the broth we were taken aback from the fishiness. Also only came with two small pieces of shrimp tempura so kind of skimpy. We never say this about food but simply not good.
Good fresh sushi!

Not knowing where to eat, chose this place by chance.
I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen. It was simply the worst ramen I ever had. Instament ramen is 10x better. Noodle was dry and very hard. Soup base was very very salty. It was very disappointed.

It was a decent lunch. The miso was a bit too cool for me. Wish it was steaming hot! It definitely lacked flavor as well. The chicken could have been charred more like the photo but it was decent. Definitely good for the price but lacked flavor. Will I be back? Maybe? Not sure!
