Great quality fish for a great price. The owner is always there & is the nicest person ever. A hole in the wall restaurant thats super welcoming&keeps you wanting to go back everyday! Located in the cut so its quiet and has a table outside that you can sit and enjoy people watching.

Hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had. Nabeeya closes pretty early, like 2:30pm and I definitely always forget because I always want it after then lol but when I recall I'm always elated. I always get the sushi with crabmeat, fried shrimp and eel. It's one of the best rolls I've ever had, sooo flavorful and fresh! 10/10. I also love the shrimp fried rice too, always a great portion size and delishhhh. Don't let this cute incognito spot deceive you, it's amazing, great quick service and great eats !

Ordered the shrimp bento, and it was delicious! Perfectly crispy, and filling. Not pictures, but also comes with miso soup. Would recommend if in the area :)

I was famished, and ordered the beef bento box. It was a perfect size for my appetite, and was truly delicious. My food was served quickly as well. Lovely to eat outdoors, and the owner and cook are both super friendly, laid back and interesting to talk to. I’d highly recommend it!

Salmon BowlThe chirashi was loaded with high quality & thick slices of fish, I loved every bite ? The yellowtail belly had fat marbled in it & was so decadent, I’m still shook it was included in the bowl ? The bowl also included lots of salad/seaweed salad which I loved and at $16/bowl this is such an insane steal for this quality ???Price:$16/bowl

I've lived next door for over a year and I'm still a fan. It's always super fresh. I'm always impressed for the quality. Sure, it's no frills. But this DTLA. No frills is what brings the charm to this area. Also, come by after 5pm and try Kashira Sushi. Operating from the same kitchen with a similar menu. Just as yummy. I tried the unagi roll (Dragon) and the salmon bowl. Both bomb. Solid spot!

I really like this place but the customer service is really bad from the guy taking orders. First time me & my friend went he was being rude about not having change so cut her off while talking. Then I went to go ask for some soy sauce and he made a face... liiiiiiiike I had no problem paying for some dam soy sauce if that was the case.
