Brussel Sprouts are awesome. Driest biscuit I've ever had, should just bake some Pillsbury grands, instead. Music was loud enough when we were there that it was hard to have a conversation, but we will probably be back because the food is very good and reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts are great, but sure if there are more options.

Overall, this place was really good. It's a good size restaurant with a nice vibe. I loved the music. I didn't want to leave so I could listen to more. Service was great. We had the chicken wings, mac and cheese, blueberry muffin waffle, chicken and waffle, crispy fish sandwich with fries, 3 piece bone-in crispy chicken and the chiquilale (I probably spelled it wrong). It was a good selection of food. The chicken and waffle was probably the best. My son got it with the honey chipotle sauce. The chiquilale was really good too. The crispy fish sandwich was so fresh and a good size. My bone-in chicken was good. The pieces were really big. More for 2 people to share. I was disappointed in the Mac and cheese. It had no taste at all. The wings were underwhelming and very small for the price. In any case, I would definitely come back to try more dishes. The spicy honey butter biscuit sounds good.

5 star experience here all around. Portion size was huge and chicken was near perfect. The server who was incredibly helpful recommended the hushpuppies. They were incredible and honestly the highlight of the meal. Don't skip on those. Music was really good and there's really cool and clean decor as well.

The food presentation is superb and the atmosphere top notch and spacious. The specialty waffles are soft, creative, and delicious and the cocktails ? are mixed well. Minus 1 star because the chicken and Mac lack seasoning and minus another star because they refused to provide a cup of warm syrup to contrast the room-temperature syrup on the table.I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but it wouldn't be fair to the restaurant or my spouse.

We were in the neighborhood to go to the La Brea tar pits and to stop by the RipnDip store across the street. While waiting for the store to open, we popped in here and got lemonade and arnold palmers for ourselves. They have a daily lemonade, and that day was lemonade with fresh strawberry puree. They were quite good, if a bit much on the ice. Staff was nice to us even with us not being a sit down table like their usual customers. Would have loved to have tried the chicken, but had no time.

I love this salad. It fills me up. This time they sent two ranches so I appreciated it. The chicken is juicy and they give a good amount. The taste of everything together is so good and the juice of the lemon tastes so good. For me it's worth the price. Good quantity.

I wanted to give Sweet Chick another try since my last visit post-pandemic when the service has gone way down. Not much has changed. It's so impersonal to have to seat yourself, scan a QR code to order, then wait for an eternity for someone to bring your food. I ordered the classic chicken and waffles but was unable to select the pieces of chicken I wanted and the menu has no description of the pieces you get with the order. Good luck getting someone's attention to ask a question. What's worse, you have to pay ahead and provide a tip, if you choose to give one, before you get your food. I understand paying ahead of time, but the tip should come afterwards. The chicken was hot when it finally came, but not as flavorful as it used to be. The waffles, unfortunately, were cold.

It's been a while since I've been here which means it's time for a visit. I got the vegan chicken with sides that didn't disappoint. The vibe here is always a vibe no matter what time of day you go. The service feels like your family and close friends. The only thing is that it's a busy street so if you can use a ride service or try your luck with the parking. If they add valet this will sure be a gem I frequent more.
