Made a custom cookie order online for an event I was hosting. The cookies did not arrive by the date indicated and promised and I was left having to scramble for an alternate option at the last minute for my big event. I contacted Sweet E's by phone 2 times and by email 3 times. They promised a refund if the order didn't arrive on time. They never responded to any of my emails and left me high and dry and out more than $200! Would not recommend due to their lack of response and poor customer service.

Found this place trying to get some custom cupcakes made for an event, 48 hours in advance. Multiple emails sent out with no correspondence. List all these different means to reach them via email, phone but its felt impossible. I finally spoke to a customer service rep by the name of Sheree I believe, extremely rude.I probably still would've came back for future orders until I spoke with her. Not only am I sick trying to verify an order before it gets delivered, in expressing my concern she began to laugh, multiple times. Even after expressing how baffled I was at her reaction, she continued to do so. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional customer service rep like this before. Do they go through training? Do you all monitor calls? Do you all have a way to escalate issues? If you want to get the run around, get ignored, feel belittled, laughed at and can't express your issues with a hire up, then by all means order from here. I'll be back to give an update once the cupcakes arrive.

Truly disgusted with the experience w/ SWEET E's. Not sure how they've been in business this long based on what I just went through and now have read through many similar Reviews. WARNING!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE FOR A PARTY OR SPECIAL OCCASION.I decided to order all my desserts and cakes from here for my daughter’s 8th birthday. Huge mistake! Don’t let their pictures or website fool you. They may look like professionals running their business but they are not and they are awful.I ordered two specialty birthday cakes for my daughter’s 8th birthday. One two tier cake and a number cupcake cake. I also ordered 2 dozen gluten free cupcakes and 1 dozen vegan cupcakes. That never came!My confirmed delivery window was 11am-2pm, the timeframe I had for my daughter’s birthday party at a rented venue. By 12:30pm I hadn’t received any contact by the bakery about my delivery being on the way. So I decided to call the bakery to get an update. Both phone numbers provided. No one answered. I left messages and emails to try to get someone to update me on my order. Surely my $1200 order was being worked on right? Even if it came at 2pm we still had the space to sing happy birthday and hand out cake and desserts. I knew my delivery was up to 2pm at the latest so I waited until 2pm. They’re professionals right? Wrong again. The party ended and everyone left by 2:30pm with no cake or desserts. At 3:30pm when I was already driving back home I get a call from the courier saying they were ready to deliver my order. I said I just need a refund because the party is over and no one was there anymore. It was 1.5 hours past the latest time they confirmed for it to be delivered. From 12:30-2pm I had called them repeatedly and no one answered my calls, voicemails or emails. They just stuck their heads in the sand.If they had just answered my calls or emails or gotten back to me I could have tried to salvage the situation. I could have sent someone to pick up a cake and desserts from a grocery store or Postmated something. My daughter, family and friends didn’t have to be left with nothing. Anything would have been better than nothing. I counted on their professionalism and because of their lack of it, they ruined my daughter’s birthday party. My daughter cried and told me it was the worst birthday party ever because there was no cake and she didn’t get to blow out her candles while her family and friends sang happy birthday to her.AND when another mom saw me pacing on the phone stressing and asked me what was wrong and I told her the desserts and cake have not yet come and they are not answering my calls or emails, she asked what company I used. I told her it was Sweet E’s. Her eyes grew wide and she said THEY DID THE SAME THING TO HER 2 WEEKS PRIOR AND RUINED HER DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY AS WELL. My experience is not a one off or rare mishap. This is just how they are. And they are awful. It took me 3 days before I was able to get a hold of anyone. Not because they checked their inboxes and got back to me, they made no attempt to reach out. I had to call them repeatedly for days until someone finally answered to get my $1200 back.I’ll be using Baby Bea’s Bakeshop instead in the future. A little more expensive but worth it for her beautiful work and professionalism.

Custom ordered a cake with specifications that were clearly laid out in an email with pictures, and received a cake that was entirely different down to the color of the frosting. They didn't follow one single direction and communication throughout the entire process was intermittent and horrible. Forget asking for any sort of writing on the cake because it was completely illegible and sloppy looking. How are they charging $200? They were nice and did "correct" the cake while I waited, but they are overall unreliable and careless. Yikes.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS PLACE! Ruined my niece's first birthday by failing to deliver the customized cookies that we ordered weeks in advance! There is no accountability and non-existent customer service. We have been calling and emailing for days and have never gotten a response. Do not even know if we will be able to get a refund at this point. This is an absolute joke. Will be reporting them to BBB immediately! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! This place is a SCAM! I ordered from the website but the cookies never came. I called them multiple times but there is only an automated messaging system that responds. I left messages but they never returned my call. This place should be flagged and taken off your google searches! Don't do it!!!

I tried cupcakes when they were located pico/robertson, it was bad then and continues the same way. This was brought to my company event and same stale but very pretty cupcakes. Do not recommend. Whole Foods a lot better and more fresh

Wanted to order photo cookies for my nephew's birthday. The site says they ship nationwide and their images looked great so I gave it a shot. The website is very user unfriendly. At no point was I able to add the delivery address, only my billing address several states away. Finally got a response that the address was invalid-- fair enough as it's my sister's brand new build house. So I gave an alternate delivery address but never heard back. I have sent six messages (email & customer service chat) in the last 2-3 days requesting confirmation of my order, delivery address & delivery date. I've heard NOTHING back. Disappointing ordering process & customer service. Maybe they're better if you're local, but why offer nationwide shipping if customers can't actually enter a delivery address nor speak with anyone for help.

I purchased my birthday cake back in January. I tried to get in contact with a employee from the store to see if I could make a little minor changes to my cake on the day I purchased my cake but it was very hard to get in contact with a employee, I kept calling and after a week in a half later I finally got in contact with somebody from the store. The employee was very helpful and told me that they were unable to make any changes and my cake that I purchased has to be like the actual cake that was displayed on there website, I was okay with that. The day of pick up, I was very happy on how my cake came out, they did a good job but I wished they would have used real cherries instead of fake cherries and also I wished the cake wasn’t a little dry but overall I was happy with my cake. Thank you Sweet E’s!

When you first arrive at Sweet E's Bake Shop, it looks closed permanently because there are wooden boards over the windows on the front of the building and bars around windows that are painted pink, the same color as the building. However, when you get up to the front door there is a doorbell and when rang, someone comes to open it for you quickly. I gave them my order confirmation # and they promptly provided my cake order and took only about 5 minutes to make the balloons. The cake and balloons looked exactly like they did in the pictures on the website! GORGEOUS!!! The box the cake came in was wrapped in plastic wrap in a sturdy cardboard box with great instructions for handling the cake with care while driving and for proper storage. The balloons were on a plastic stand that was so nice and convenient for transporting and displaying! Sadly, the two balloons that had confetti inside deflated within a couple of hours but we improvised and cut those balloons off the plastic stand and poured them out onto the table for display, and the arrangement with the missing balloons still looked great ;) We will be ordering our next custom cake from Sweet E's!!

Love the flavor of the cakes but the website is very limiting. I was never able to speak to anyone. The packages are not good on variety they need a human I would have gotten more ... and delivery would have cost 100 to take my cake literally up the street. I found this place originally on Postmates. If you are ok never talking to a person this it the spot. The Postmates order was great I wanted more their gluten free cupcakes orders were sooooo good. The order direct was pretty subpar on the gluten free chocolate cupcakes. Why don't they offer the same items that sucked me in in the first place? They have potential. My post mates cake came destroyed but we ate it and it was yummy very very yummy.

Through a Tory Burch event, the cookies we recieved tasted like glue. The icing was not edible. The cookie was hard and tasted like cardboard. Overall design is cute but would never eat anything by this brand again. Do not eat these, really gross.
