Visiting LA with the family and hit all the parks and saw all the things but the happiest face I saw all trip was when my daughter took a bite of their Nutella croissant. Absolutely priceless.

We ordered 2 breakfasts. His was ok, mine wasn't. I got the eggs Benedict, there was no description in the menu so I thought there would be classic. They come in a sliced bread, salmon on top and the eggs were tiny and overcooked kinda like microwaved. The salad was ok, just drenched in dressing, breakfast potatoes were the only thing that was super. We paid and tip before we got the food, althought after paying at register we didn't get any service. It took like 20 min for 2 simple breakfasts while the place had 2 tables already drinking coffee. We had to go get the food from the counter as nobody helped us it seemed they were only 3 people working a cashier, a coffee lady and a cook. There are a lot of imported chocolates candy and beverages, nice decor.
I stopped here for breakfast before going to Universal Studios Hollywood as it's located so close. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! This is a cute little French cafe. The decor was very thoughtful with French flags and cozy seats. I wish it was night time as it looked like they have lovely fairy lights for the evenings. The person at the register was friendly and our food was fresh made and probably took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the alpine tartine without bacon and it was DIVINE. I really enjoyed it and the mix of Brie, sour cream, egg, potatoes, and bread. I did add some hot sauce and pepper but it was very good. I appreciate the side salad to balance out the heaviness. I did not have space for their pastries but they looked amazing. I will say the one major downside is that they did not have espresso or specialty drinks when I visited which I found disappointing. I got a canned cold coffee which was okay. I would've loved a latte or cappuccino to pair with my breakfast.

I bookmarked this place for a while and finally had a chance to go in this morning. I honestly regret going in. I was the only customer there..As i went inside, a lady with short hair was on the phone and kept looking at me. She didnt even say "one minute " or "ill get someone to help you". She kept looking then walked away into the back kitchen. There was a young man standing there the whole time in the "cafe" area picking cilantros. LITERALLY I HAD TO GO UP TO HIM AND ASK FOR HELP. He said, "the lady (short haired) and pointed, can help you". Really? I was the only customer in the store. Nobody else. Then this other lady walks out and gets the things i needed. I honestly didnt even want to try their stuff at that point, but i felt so awkward and looked down upon. Im not gonna lie, the croissant was good and so was the baguette. But i felt discriminated against, and ill never step foot in there again. Thanks for your great service.
I was there at the end of the day so sélection was a little limited. But what I did have was truly delicious. A croissant was soft, flakey and buttery, and the pear tart was out of this world. I liked it more than the apple tart which surprised me since I don’t usually like pear too much.

We spent a few months in Paris and when we came back to the US we moved into our house in LA. I was a bit sad thinking that I’d lost my morning croissants and fresh baguettes. Then voila! I saw that Sweet Lilly’s was less than a mile away. The croissants and baguettes are just like in Paris. All is well.

Pastries here are soft, freshly bake and its delicious not to mention the aroma is so appetizing! Kinda pricey but worth it knowing the quality was not compromise and service was also great.
