This almost certainly isn’t the staff’s fault, but I don’t know what to make of it. So everything would be 5 stars, but if a bug crawls out of your dinner I feel like that’s a 1 star?

We had been here several times with no issues, but recently my girlfriend ate here and got food poisoning. She has an auto immune disease so this is extra dangerous for her. I can't endorse any restaurant making people sick.

I have been going to the store for years since I work at a nearby hospital. Lately, however, this store is making more and more egregious mistakes. They also have a man who seems to be in charge who is excessively concerned with little things while not being as concerned with getting people‘s orders right. A couple orders ago we ordered a salad and there was no dressing. My bowl was missing one of the vegetables. We also got someone else’s order included in our bag. Yesterday I ordered from the same store and they completely forgot the steak in the steak mezze bowl. The store used to make small mistakes, but the omissions are becoming more and more significant. The main protein and the dressing are some of the most important parts of one’s order from this company so to get these things wrong is pretty bad. To add insult to injury, I always enjoy buying the ginger greens drink. The store used to wait until I would pick up the order to fill the drink and as is my usual custom, I would always ask for no ice. I never had a problem before doing this. However, the last few times that we’ve gone to the store, when we’ve asked for no ice with our drink the man who seems to be in charge makes a big scene and insists that we have to have ice with our drink. this guy reminds me of the soup Nazi from the soup Nazi episode in Seinfeld many years ago. He should be less concerned with ice cubes and more concerned with getting people‘s orders right. I contacted sweetgreen’s corporate and they told us that there’s no policy requiring the store to put ice in people’s drinks. For the prices sweet greens charges, they should have no problem, honoring a customer’s request to have no ice. The man at the store who keeps insisting on this each time makes a scene, causes a line to build up, and is setting a very bad example for the store. I really really hope that corporate does something quick before the store continues It’s downhill trend. The mistakes it is making are really bad and it seems as though other reviewers are having the same problems. I hope somebody is reading this review who can make an impact at this store. whoever this guy is who’s running the show needs to go back to the basics and start chopping kale all day before he can have the responsibility of managing so much. He’s obviously not doing a good job.

Went in to order, the guy was just so rude when I was talking to him regarding substitution throwing out the kale and the lettuce - I told him I’d leave cause he’s being rude, he throw the bowl out and I left. Very rude customer service, won’t come back

Ordered in person. The staff made 2 mistakes making my bowl, I had to give him redirections to correct the mistakes (I guess as the customer I know the menu/how things are run better than this staff). Didn’t even apologize.
Gave me tiny portion too, I just had never ran into this kind of issue at Silverlake location before. Can we do better with training new staff please?
