Came to get the shrimp tacos special and they had this sign that said "On Lunch Sorry" 30 minutes before they close. A bit unprofessional if you ask me. How are you gonna go on lunch when you're about to close. I tried knocking to ask what time he will open again because I can see the guy in there but he just ignored me. Food is great but the service obviously need a lot of work.

Showed up at 6:25 cause I looked up their hours after work (closes 7PM) and the front door is locked. Sign says open and the menus are on but when I Reyes the door the guy in the back went and hid out of view.

It was absolutely gross. I have tried different locations. This one in highland park is so nasty. The fish is dry and the veggies tasted awful. Please try another location because the food is good. Just this location is a miss in my radar.

If you are craving fish tacos, Baja Cali is the spot!! This place is definitely casual and no frills, but the food is so good. We stuck to the original fish tacos with two sides of fries. The fish tacos had fresh cabbage and tomatoes. The fish pieces were a good size and fried to perfection. The sauce added the perfect tanginess to each bite. My son said he could have eaten 10 tacos. The fries were good, and two servings of it was plenty for us to share. We chose to eat inside, but a lot of people were getting it to go. I did have to clean our table a bit when we sat, but it wasn't too bad. Service was very friendly. This will be my new go to fish taco spot in Highland Park!

First timer. Fish burrito was excellent. No frills interior, but who cares, I'm not eating the interior! Friendly service. Will be back to order some fish tacos very soon.

Fuck these low star reviews. I eat tacos ALL over LA and know all "the spots". I'm giving this spot five stars to boost their score and the online traffic to their restaurant. The lady that works here prolly has a hard life. She can be FUCKING rude even, but that's not the point, the food is solid. I find this to be one of the best taco chains I've had. Tuesdays, they have a FAT fish taco for cheap. The birria is always on point, and I genuinely enjoy this chain. Again, it's no villas tacos or chuys or mariscos Jalisco, but for what it is it's f***in fire!

bad service. I made my order by phone and when I arrived at the location in the valley they charged me and an hour later they had not prepared the order. They worked for everyone except me.
I like this Baja cali because they are close to my job however what I don’t like is tht they never have all the sides needed to make my food better I love the onions and extra cream sauce and they never have it it does make me disappointed they should have everything needed to make my meal experience

I have ordered from this location for take out several times in the past years and the food has been delicious. This time I ordered a Shrimp burrito and a Baja Cali burrito and the rice was old and burnt. This was on a Friday evening. Very disappointing.
