Taco Mell's Catering and Restaurant

First time here and unfortunately, very disappointed.

The food took a long time to come out, and by the time I received it, it was already cold. The meat was very salty, the shrimp was very salty, and even the beans were overly salty. The rice was okay, but there were way too many onions in the burrito.

I’m sharing this as constructive criticism. The restaurant has good potential, but there’s definitely a lot of room for improvement. You need a faster kitchen and better seasoning control everything shouldn’t taste the same level of salty.

I paid $20 for the burrito, and honestly, I only finished it because I was hungry and didn’t want to waste my money. Otherwise, I would have thrown it away.

I hope this feedback helps. With some adjustments, this place could be much better.

This small place sits on Crenshaw in the artsy Leimert Park. They have a kiosk inside you can order from.
Proteins are steak, shrimp and chicken. I ordered steak and shrimp nachos, crispy combo tacos and a steak and shrimp burrito. Total was 70 something.
Kool aide is delicious with many varieties.
Tacos weren't crispy. Steak was stringy and not high quality. Shrimp didn't stand out at all.
Service is very efficient and fast. Parking can be challenging.

The food was good!! I mean hot and fresh! That's not always the case, I've had a couple mishaps but today's was amazingggggg!! So fresh and tasty I went back twice😍

I paid for a burrito, the cashier said it would be 7 minutes, when I came back she said she gave my burrito away and there is no more meat, this is why it’s so hard to patronize black business. FYI I wasn’t the only one she did that too…

We had Taco Mell Catering for our gathering. They arrive and prepare on-site their amazing food: your choice of what kind and how many tacos, the toppings you want, and all in a freshly warmed tortilla right off their grill. They do it all: setup, serving, then cleanup...everyone was satisfied and full of good food!!

I have been coming to the Taco Bell on Crenshaw and 43rd for years, and it stays undefeated. The area is laid back and the vibe is chill. My go to is the 3 meat burrito with green sauce, and I swear I crave it like a late night plot twist. They make it fast, they make it hot, and they do not play when it comes to portions. My burrito is always packed, never flimsy, and they never skimp on the protein.

I usually grab the raspberry Kool Aid too, which tastes like childhood in a cup and completes the whole moment. The customer service here is decent, the team moves quick, and even when the line gets long they keep things flowing.

This location has been my steady favorite for years. Reliable food, good portions, quick service, and that same flavor every time. No matter how many new spots open up, the Taco Bell on Crenshaw and 43rd will always be my go to.

Veggie Heaven!! Ordered two BRC tacos with guacamole. Loved the sauces, texture was perfect. Lovely service. So fresh!! Will be back.

I got the 3 meat(Chk,carne, & shrimp) burrito and it was very good. The carne asada was close to being salty but my personal addition of crema toned it down. A little on the pricey side but when seafood is involved, it's to be expected. We got there just before closing but did not feel like we, nor our food was rushed. Everything was made fresh, and that Kool-aid was a hit! I mixed the blue raspberry lemonade with the peach mango... just do it and thank me later. So in all I would definitely recommend and fully intend to have them cater some of my functions! Definitely worth the trip from the IE!

Does steak tacos were really good the burrito with three meats in it was overly salty and two spicy so you need to lighten up on the salt and lighten up on the heat because everybody don't like salt and everybody don't like heat so you need to have a good balance and now it's my personal opinion this was my first time coming there getting food from you and I was good with the tacos but I was disappointed in the burrito because it was too salty and too spicy

All I can say is let me invite these people to my carne asada ! The food was so delicious I didn’t even have time to take a photo the order didn’t even make it out of the damn parking lot !!!
