It sucks that there’s not that many great places to eat in Compton. I don’t have very much but I treated myself to lunch this afternoon here at this location and the quality of the food was terrible. I felt so bad that I was going through my entire lunch away so I decided to be brave enough to walk in politely and request a refund. They’re so “ghetto” and I watch the Hispanic girl touch the register with gloves on then handle the fries. Just because they’re in Compton doesn’t mean they have to fit all the “sterotypes” of Compton.Respect goes along way, and when you treat people with dignity. I understand there’s police’s and procedures but it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Poor mentality and a poor mindset will keep you in the same place forever. People have to grow. How would they want someone to treat their family if their family was dinning in somewhere.

It's a really good Taco. I got the OG Taco, added avocado with ground turkey meet super delicious. Fries had seasoned salt which is always good. The wait is a bit long. So maybe call in your order.

Had a burrito; wanted it wet; we joked about it; they don't do wet burritos. Sooo, I ate the most delicious steak burrito ever. Juicy, tender, and enough for two to share. But, if you are greedy, then just buy two. Fan of Pete's tacos for life!

Tacos are so good and crunchy. The meat was seasoned and tasty. I went for taco Tuesday and it was amazing. $2 tacos that are usually $2.75 each. Will return and I wholeheartedly recommend.

Rosecrans location is finally open and I'm loving it. No more risking my life for some food going on 120th and Central lol. Been a customer since the late 80's early 90's so now I get to enjoy one of my favorite spots regularly ?

Looks like it's just a truck right now but the food is still delicious. Best tacos I've ever had, that weren't made at home. Nostalgic crunch and flavor. Taste Best when consumed right next to the truck.

Let's start off first by saying the restaurant has been closed I guess the owners of the land had other plans for their property. So now they're working out of a food truck in front of the original establishment. Today I was in the mood for one of their tacos and what I thought would be a burrito( steak burrito suprem no lettuce) at least close to the same caliber as what i remeber, well unfortunately about a third almost close to half of the meat in the burrito was unedible just pure fat flavorless overall the burrito was a waste of money. I don't know if quality is gone down because they're working out of a food truck or if the staff just doesn't care but for the price of the burrito I've had better quality at pop-up taco shops.

Taco Pete have been around for decades I'm 43 and remember this place as a child and still visit often, sadly this location was sold which Caused the business to switch locations after all these years insane and will miss this place on that corner that stood out and had lots of buisness

They intentionally unplug phone so thy don't have to answer. Whenever you luckily get to place phone order you'll still have to wait another 40 minutes when you get there. The Hispanic lady was very rude my last visit; she messed my order up and proceeded to argue about it, I canceled and left. I tried the egg BLT and it made me throw up. The burgers are dry. The tacos are good but its a hit or miss...sometimes tacos are great and other times they're extra greasy with no flavor and the ground beef meat taste fake
