Finally made it to Taco/Social with some friends for HH, drinks are fairly priced, with some on tap and others not; like the old fashioned, but all solid choices. The place feels super family-friendly, which was nice to see. The vibe is open and welcoming, with a cool, relaxed setting. The tacos? Not what you expect when next to some of LA's best taco spots, these were more fusion, but they were seriously tasty. The Nashville hot cod is a must try. definitely would come back

Terrible service. I mean the kind of service that is made worse by the expectation of today’s tipping culture. Forced by a kiosk to tip twenty percent or more but you receive zero percent friendless in exchange. We had been putting up with the bland and white washed food because it was close to the house and convenient. But tonight Ethan’s poor service was the breaking point. You can’t have terrible food and terrible service and still think people will come time and time again to keep you in business. Hard pass for us moving forward. Other local restaurants who HUSTLE like the mexicatessan across the street deserve your business instead. TACO UNSOCIAL

I frequent this business at least once a week with my family and in that patronage we spend well over $100 dollars each and every time and tip 20% or more for service despite this being an order at a walk up station place. Tonight we arrived at 8:30pm (they close at 9) with my family. There was one person named Ethan working the order stand and we had one person ahead of us ordering. Ethan allowed their order of two people to take FIFTEEN minutes and his delay appeared on purpose. When it was finally our time to order he looked down at the clock and said “welp it’s 8:45pm” and we no longer take orders. He knew the issue was the length of time the order before us took (which appeared purposeful) and his attitude was inconceivable considering this is a service based business. He was RUDE & Unprofessional and I have a choice in eagle rock where I spent my money. I will now forever chose Cacao & Senior fish who have been nothing but friendly to our family and value our business. Save your money for businesses who care and trust me as a neighboorhood patron and send your business elsewhere. Plus, if I am being honest their food cannot even come close to the authentic flavors of their local competitors. It is time for businesses like this to learn that our hard earned money in this economy has a choice and I will now go elsewhere moving forward.

The gal that waited on me made some great recommendations on tacos. I highly recommend the one with the ribeye. I was skeptical but I went back for a second one. I had two different kinds of margaritas and they were pretty awesome as well. Definitely would come back here if I was back in this area.

I think this is the best restaurant in LA right now in terms of consistency. Nashville Hot Cod is numero uno. Followed closely by the Bahn Mi, Pork Dumpling, Wagyu Smash Burger, Cajun Shrimp, and Bulgogi. And Yes those are all Tacos.

First and foremost, there are not your typical taco, so if you are expecting street tacos, this is not it. On the other hand the inventive and delicious combinations that they have come up with are totally worth the trip. One thing I really appreciated (as I was there with gluten intolerant friends) was that corn tortillas were available. I love the Baja Fish, Greek Life (Chicken) and Ribeye Bulgogi, but everything I have tried here is excellent. The lemonade is fresh or if you want there is soda, beer and drinks available. Such a fun atmosphere and a lovely patio/garden in back. Be warned that if you are there on the weekends it will be super noisy but a great vibe nonetheless. A fun place to go with friends.
