Came to LA from the Bay and got off the freeway to eat. Lemme tell you guys it was one of the best burritos i ever had. Also got a mulita de brain and it was 11/10. And its so cheap. Check em out, they wont disappoint

my favorite place for al pastor; I can't seem to find anywhere else that does al pastor like they do! it's always a treat for me to steal away to their stand and get a quesadilla al pastor! just note that they are closed on Mondays!also, they are now located on 30th St and Vermont Ave, just look for the string lights on 30th St (not 27th as some other review mentions)

This place is the spot lucky enough to arrived when the line is short cause some nights they have a long line but hey if the the line is long you know the spot is fire right love all the meats the salsa and grilled onions and jalapenos are fire! Don't forget to get your Horchata with your tacos burritos or quesadillas

Any USC student knows and loves this place! Highly recommend getting the al pastor, but also make sure to try the lengua and cabeza. They can also customize your order however you want, some goto’s are adding cheese (to anything), getting pineapple, or adding veggies! Cash only, look for the string lights on 27th

You WILL get sick if you eat here!!! I’m not usually one to leave reviews but my experience today was not only inexcusable but also so repulsive that my associates and I ended up throwing away all the food we bought - totally untouched. Even without taking a single bite - not even opening the bag it came in, the thought of what I had just experienced made me and my associates feel like puking.... And btw, I made sure to sanitize my hands after “touching the bag.” Today, on our way to a 2pm business appointment in the area, my business partners and I spotted this restaurant and thought we could get a quick order in and scarf down our food in time to make our appointment. At around I:10 pm, I placed an order for 3 shrimp burritos, one pastor taco and some salsas. I was patiently waiting for our order, but time was passing quickly. Twenty-five minutes later, a considerable amount of customers that came after me had placed and received their orders. Still, I waited patiently. When I finally received my order, I looked at my watch and it was past 1:45pm. Over 30 minutes for 3 shrimp burritos and a taco???!!! I am a former chef and restaurant owner. So, I get it - things happen. Been there. Hated it when my customers had to wait more than they had to - for any reason. I place no blame on this restaurant for the fact that we were now running late for our business meeting. I would have let that all go and not have said a word, but then this repulsive thing happened. Just before I received my order, the employee tending the register (a tall, younger looking, caucasian male) came out of the restaurant and onto the sidewalk where I was waiting and proceeded to the black colored trash can that is placed outside in front of the restaurant. He stuck his barehands into the trash can and picked out from it an empty glass bottle and an empty can of Red Bull - and then brought them back into the restaurant!!! This place is tiny - so you can see a lot of what is going on. Within moments of walking back into the restaurant - a second or two and not more - he was back attending to the register. He did not wash his hands!!! I was waiting to see if he would go back somewhere to wash his hands but he never left the register area. A few minutes later, still with unwashed hands, he handed me my order!!! With my associates (who were waiting in the car) having been repeatedly hounding me via text to that we needed to get going - disgustedly, I hurriedly took off with the order. All the while I was thinking of what just happened. Under pressure to get going, I didn’t have the time nor the presence of mind to bring it to the managers/owners attention nor simply ask for a refund. Back at the car, I was so upset that I couldn’t even begin to explain to my associates what had happened. I can’t even continue to explain this any further right now. I am beyond upset. I had to convince my associates that we shouldn’t eat the food. $59 with tax went directly into the dumpster of another restaurant in Glendale that we went to after our meeting. To say that what this employee did was not hygienic would be polite. Covid-19 season or not, this is simply inexcusable and unacceptable. This is a matter for the health department. I still know people there.

I wanted to try al pastor but it wasn't ready 15 minutes after opening. The lengua, cabeza, and chicken tacos were good as well as the guacamole and salsas but I don't think I will come back anytime soon due to the long line and slow service. The horchata needs more flavor.
