Tacos 1986 is such a great spot. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a really good vibe. I especially loved the breakfast options, and the bacon and egg breakfast was really good. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well made.
It is a great place to stop by if you want something quick, satisfying, and consistently good. I definitely enjoyed the experience and would come back again.

There are a few Tacos 1986. I have only been to this one and we love it. All of their food is great--Mexican food-- and you will love it. Beware the salsa, some is so hot, so ask. I did not and that was just dumb. We love all their food. They make the best soft tacos and their burritos are out of this world. They have great meat that is cut just for you and it is ever so fresh and tasty. They have several types of tacos and burritos, my favorite being the carne asada burrito.
They also have salsas you can buy by the bottle and they even have merch.
The place is super cute and always clean. You can eat there or take home, many take home or use delivery.
The service is great. They are so nice and they make you smile. The prices are fair for what you get and the food is fresh. You will love it.

Tacos 1986 makes the best breakfast burrito and tacos I’ve ever had 🤤😍
The food is not bad at all! They could do less salt for sure. But my biggest gripe is how does a Taco/Burrito place not have Spanish rice or refried beans?!? Missed that part. IMHO that’s what makes Spanish cooking! Some kind of rice at least would have been NICE!

I've had the vampiros and quesadilla. I loved both, but they may not be everyone's cup of tea. The vampiros are not fried, so they are crunchy and not crispy. Quesadilla is basically a taco with cheese, so don't expect an overwhelming amount of cheese. I haven't tried the rest of their menu yet.
I've had both the adobada and carne asada. I like their adobada, but I think their asada is even better. It's wonderfully flavored while still being juicy.
There are a bunch of salsas available including salsa macha, which I don't see very often. I haven't had a bad salsa here yet.
Overall, I highly recommend Tacos 1986.

Delicious food, no seats available, you eat standing up, but that’s exactly what makes it authentic Mexican cuisine.

Ordered through Postmates and was met with old guacamole on my bowl. The food itself was good and I’m sure even better eating-in, but I was disappointed to see that the guacamole in the side was great— delicious even— but the guacamole topped on my bowl was bitter and old, as if it had been exposed. I ended up scraping it off—probably $1-2 worth the way they charge for avocado. Typically this happens when you have premade guacamole and have it in the fridge not covered. While this could have been a fresh batch of guacamole or not— the lack of oversight by who made my order did not leave a good impression on me— especially being a first time customer. That aside, the bowl was quality though not super flavorful.
