Eat and drank in the cafe attached to the street food. What a find. First day in beautiful Mexico City and at the heart of everything is this wonderful, traditional bar. Just ask for what the locals have and you’ll get what you’re here for - a genuine Mexican welcome and experience. Just ask the locals - they’re here! 2 Corona, two course local lunch and generous tip - £5 per head. Wonderful.

I read about this place but I was not sure what to expect. It is crowded and there are very few to none tourists. You can have them to go but when in a hotel that is not necessarily the best option. So I had them there and this real, simple Mexican food at its best! Though very central the dining room is very modest and you have to eat them as finger food. They have platters with pickled vegetables and guacamole and everything is so good!!!

Highly recommended for tasty tacos. This is genuine street food. The line is worth the wait, and it moves pretty quickly. Ordering is easy. First station: you pay for the number of tacos and drinks you want, and a guy hands over the right number of tokens/chips for what you paid for. Second station: hand over the taco tokens, pick the kinds of tacos you want, and receive your tacos. Third station: hand over your drink tokens and tell the guy what drinks you want. You can eat in or take the food to go. The rear of the establishment has standing tables. People circulate in and out pretty quickly, so just grab an open space and eat!

I discovered this place while I was walking with my sisters and my aunt through CDMX. They gave us excellent attention,the tacos are delicious, you can accompany with Guacamole and some other things. There are usually quite a few people but they serve you quickly,the place is clean and they have sanitary measures. However, a bigger place would be perfect to not wait long and enjoy the food even more. The price is cheap and it is in the center, finishing you could go to enjoy a delicious dessert, Mexican food will surprise you. I will be back soon

Title says it all these are simply the best tacos in Mexico city. Always the first place we go after checking in and will not be the only time we go. DO NOT let the long lines at lunch put you off bc they are worth the wait. Eat in or grab a take away and find a spot to sit down and enjoy. Five tacos and drink is the way to go.

Caro y ni buenos estan 5 x $10 dlrs y es tortilla pequeña y las sodas a $5 dlrs q no manchen, si estubieran buenos valio la pena pero nisiquiera eso terribles y pesimo servicio t atienden como q vas a pedir regalado 🤮🤜🤬

We were so curious and excited to try tacos de canasta but I must say they didn't live up to the expectations. We tried the chicharrón en adobo and refried bean tacos. The bean tacos were my favorite but overall they were just underwhelming.

Around road from Zocalo is place it came recommended by food bloggers and there is queues , currently you eat standing, there is chicarron, Adobe and beans, i tried all, its inexpensive but not my type of tacos

If you see a tiny restaurant with a line that stretches around the block you know it's gonna be good. Tacos de cansata or basket tacos in gringo are little moist tacos with an almost dumpling texture. Buy a lot because they'll be gone before you know it and you can afford to at only seven pesos each. One tip if you don't mind getting it to go, the takeout line to the left is much shorter.

good seasoning, quick service, courteous, accep card payment, convenient location, and more. the picadillo tacos I tried them for the first time, and they're delish

Saw a show on Netflix Taco Chronicles and they featured these types of tacos. They did not disappoint!!! I got the mixed pack variety and there’s a little something for everyone! The meat lover and vegetarian alike. They were delish!
