Just ask for what the locals have and you’ll get what you’re here for - a genuine Mexican welcome and experience. Just ask the locals - they’re here! 2 Corona, two course local lunch and generous tip - £5 per head. Wonderful.

I read about this place but I was not sure what to expect. It is crowded and there are very few to none tourists. You can have them to go but when in a hotel that is not necessarily the best option. So I had them there and this real, simple Mexican food at its best! Though very central the dining room is very modest and you have to eat them as finger food. They have platters with pickled vegetables and guacamole and everything is so good!!!

I like that hey have so many different types of tacos in one spot. Never had de canasta and the carne adobo was delicious not spicy.

Pobre abuelo, the food, the service and the overall ambiance was just really bad. Maybe at one point this place was good, but now it just looks dingy and in poor taste. The tacos are not even warm like there supposed to be (Al vapor), the sour cream smelled bad and it just lacked flavor. Sorry not sorry .

Highly recommended for tasty tacos. This is genuine street food. The line is worth the wait, and it moves pretty quickly. Ordering is easy. First station: you pay for the number of tacos and drinks you want, and a guy hands over the right number of tokens/chips for what you paid for. Second station: hand over the taco tokens, pick the kinds of tacos you want, and receive your tacos. Third station: hand over your drink tokens and tell the guy what drinks you want. You can eat in or take the food to go. The rear of the establishment has standing tables. People circulate in and out pretty quickly, so just grab an open space and eat!

Good tacos de canasta but a little dry in my opinion. Quesadilla was delicious and the salsa flavorful. Wouldn't go out of my way to return but if i happen to be in the area may stop for a quesadilla.

They were small, and the flor de calabaza was very salty, my mom and I were so hungry and were very excited about trying this spot , but we got disappointed after we ate them the salsa was good not spicy and they carried very little of the papas con chorizo and chicharron prensado they look empty once they gave it to you you see them and you just sadly accept it . But they took the hunger away but not what expected

Tacos de canasta were really good the chicharrón was my favorite flavorful meaty. The beans was good to. My least favorite was the potato one felt like it needed a little more seasoning especially after trying they're chicharrón first but i cant put chile or a lot of the topping in my tacos so that would have probably made it better. Will be back

I discovered this place while I was walking with my sisters and my aunt through CDMX. They gave us excellent attention,the tacos are delicious, you can accompany with Guacamole and some other things. There are usually quite a few people but they serve you quickly,the place is clean and they have sanitary measures. However, a bigger place would be perfect to not wait long and enjoy the food even more. The price is cheap and it is in the center, finishing you could go to enjoy a delicious dessert, Mexican food will surprise you. I will be back soon

It's been since this place is as slanging tacos under an ex-up that I've been wanting to try. Finally the last day of 2021 I had the privilege to indulge in their great tacos. Got the chicharron prensado and papa con chorizo. Plus got some bottles of Salsa Sinaloa from there as well. Not that these tacos needed any. Bottom line I truly wish I took home a basket of these. They are so good and truly worth the wait. See ya next week!!
