There are many places to find a taco in LA. This is one of the best. The tortillas are not the doubled flimsy ones that fall apart they are thicker and don’t fall apart as easily. They have so many drink options, no liquor, but many sodas and even Mexican Cokes in the bottles. It’s as street as street tacos get and one of Hollywood favorites.
I stayed in Hollywood for a few days. This food truck has become my favourite joint as a mid-night diner. Highly recommend beef cheek (Cabeza) taco, if it is on the menu. And green chilli sauce if you like hot and spicy. Do not forget to grab a super size iced water from the nearby petroleum station, to wash down the dinner.
Wow… where do I even start!? As a Mexican-American, I approve of these tacos! I’ve tried their asada, chicken, al pastor, and lengua — all of them were very good. My favorites were definitely the lengua and al pastor, though I’ll admit I’m a little biased since those are my go-to meats.
