Used to frequent this place a lot, but now I have some new favorites. It's not the best area, but the street tacos were good. I've only ordered tacos, but they have a full menu. Hole in the wall in the hood.
Service is always friendly. Lil skimpy on the meat, but they offer well priced all meat options. I suggest asada as the pastor did not taste super fresh mid-week. The inside offers comfortable seating and a full view of their great salsa and fresh fixings selections. Fresh Jamica & good coffee are my favorite drinks and the drive thru helps too!
I’m not a local to Tacos Unico but my cousin that I was driving around is, and she hasn’t had it as well. If you are like us, and are curious, I suggest getting something else. I ordered a burrito and for the price you pay, the portion is disappointing and there is nothing special to justify its pricing. I will say, the Mexican fried rice they use was nice but if you have other options, maybe try that instead.
