There was an extremely long hair in my taco. Contacted the company and they never responded. I was beyond disgusted and disappointed that the company never responded. I won’t be returning and still looking to get a refund.

I've been coming here for about a year and a half and this used to be my favorite taco spot in LA. The vegan asada and chicharron were flavorful, tacos were hot and delicious, burnt cheese was perfect. But ever since the owners stopped working in the truck, the quality of food and service has gone WAY WAY down. Messed up orders, soggy tacos, even the vegan asada is different now - hard overly chewy and tough. Sad to see Tehuanita go so down in quality Rudy, come back!!

I wanted to try out their vegetarian options and had the RoR burrito. In my opinion it was okay. It could have had more flavor in combination with the eggplant, cauliflower, soy chorizo, rice and beans. The portion was good in size, it was pretty big. I would just recommend other options to try out but I not so sure I'd try this location again. The service was good. Nothing wrong there that is why I still gave the five stars they were great. I am just skeptical about the food.

Hands down the best vegan food that's graced my mouth. I could die happy now thank you.

Everything on the menu is delicious, though highly recommend the burnt cheese roll which can be served with traditional or vegan cheese!

Super confusing to order. My "vegan" taco was loaded with real beef. Didn't notice til I got it back to hotel. The cauliflower con mole was really hard to eat with the two giant hunks of cauliflower that weren't soft in the middle. Maybe chop them up more before attempting to cook? Going to bed hungry. Big bummer.

Vegan quesadilla with butternut squash, chorizo and papas. Side of mole. Do it. This place is ridiculously good. Gone a few times during open hours and they were nowhere to be found but they're such nice guys and make amazing good, so I can't be mad. They have a 2.0 location like 10 min away, just as good but different vibe.

I shouldn't curse on Yelp so I'll just say that this place is F*****g amazing! (Censored cursing) The food is so good! We vegans eat better than carnivores. Alfonso is SO kind. The ChiliReano burrito is out of this world. The portions are huge, price is perfect, and knowing that it's all plant based; mind blown!! WINNING!! No matter where you are in the city, this vegan food truck is worth the drive. I want to come back and eat all that they have.

The burnt cheese tacos are a game changer! How is there not a huge constant line for this place? Every single time they blow me away.

Top tacos. Love catching them at Highland Park on Friday nights, I always order too many tacos - but never regret it. Their vegan options are so good, I highly recommend the potato, cauliflower -- but my very favorite is the eggplant con queso and add mole*. Someone recommended to me once, and it's all I get. Tonight they forgot my mole but quickly corrected it. Need more people to hop on board the eggplant and mole train so it's more of an established thing! Tastes like candy, strikes an odd but super satisfying combo of an Italian-inspired eggplant parm with a Mexican twist. They're always expanding their menu. Every time I see the truck they have more and more vegan options. Tonight they were featuring *new* vegan nachos, so of course I had to try, with a choice of vegan meat. The chips weren't my favorite as they weren't traditional nacho chips (they were rounded, probably store purchase) but the beans were delicious, there was a hefty serving of nacho cheese, and the vegan meat was delish. Prices are fair and quality is great. Employees are so, so sweet. Great to support, and definitely one to keep an eye on, they're doing it right. *mole contains nuts!

the best! the best! OMG. I don't even live in LA. We have traveled to LA for a 2-hour event plus these tacos. Please don't everyone go there at once. But this is the most sincere taco truck i have ever met. I have tweeted about this taco truck. And i have eaten as many tacos as i could put into myself, from this taco truck, and loved every one of them. Thank you for making such delicious, healthy, amazing tacos!

First, these tacos are mammoth. I'm a great eater and even I was getting pretty full after only TWO. I got the seitan chicharrones which is so contradictory that I had to try. It tastes nothing like chicharrones (at least as far as I can recall from eating them back in the day), but it was really good. I also got the eggplant with mole which was delicious. I should've ordered the burnt cheese but only realized too late that they could've made it vegan. DANG DONG IT. I so appreciate that everything on the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian. I will be back to try to fried chicken.

This is the best taco truck in town. I literally crave their "carne asada" tacos and burritos. It's reasonably priced, staff is super friendly, food comes out quickly, and all around good experience. Definitely try the Ror burrito (everything burrito) it's a little pricey but definitely worth it. They only thing I wish is that theyd open up earlier so I can get their food more often. I wish I could give this place infinite stars.

Damn Gina. If this is vegan, sign me up! These tacos were phenomenal and I want more already. I had the Chile relleno taco with mole and the cauliflower with mole. Outstanding! I mean make you reconsider your top 3 favorite tacos kind of good. The mole is dark and slightly spicy. The cauliflower was perfectly charred and the Chile was crispy and perfectly filled with cheese or some cheese sub that fooled me! My son had the papas con soy-rizo and those were good too, although I would have lived for the papas to be left to char a bit so there would be some crunch. The consistency was too mushy and starchy. Overall fantastic flavors and generous portions. Well done folks, well done.
