LOCATION (as of 1/12/24): 5366 York Blvd. Highland Park, CA 90042 We stopped here after going to Barcade. I love supporting the mom and pop stands as they work hard to make an honest living. We ordered the suadero all meat burrito, and 11 tacos (chicken, asada, suadero). They were all delicious! So good, I want to come back and get more! The staff is friendly, and the seats limited, as all street taco stands are. The condiments were also very good. The green sauce was good and had a little kick to it, and the red sauce was delicious, but very spicy. Overall, this is one of the best taco stands I've been to. My only complaint would be that one of the guys didn't wear gloves. He manned the al pastor station. That's unhygienic, like one of the other reviewers said.

This is a review for La Morenita street tacos on York in Highland Park across the street from El Super.Plenty of free street parking. Went today Saturday 8/5/23 about 6:30pm. No wait.Offered tacos de asada, al pastor, suadero, and a couple of other options. $2 each.All the traditional fixings and then some. I got raw onions, cilantro, radish, chile jalapeño tatemado, grilled onions, red salsa, and green salsa.The tacos were great. I tried al pastor and suadero. 2 small tortillas for each taco with a good portion of protein. Served on paper plates. I recommend both the al pastor and suadero equally.Also ordered a watermelon agua fresca. $2.50 for a small. About 10-12 oz. The agua fresca was delicious. I highly recommend you try it.3 employees were taking care of customers. No wait at all when I ordered. Quite a few customers came after me. Offer both eat there and take away.They have a table set up with plastic chairs. Easily fits 6 adults. Staff was efficient. Not friendly. Not unfriendly. Just fine. Taking care of business.I paid cash and didn't ask if they take other forms of payment.I recommend this business.

My go to taco spot! Hands down the tastiest tacos in the neighborhood. Feel like every other place has gone down hill lately but these dudes have continued to soar. They offer tacos, burritos, mulitas, and quesadillas at a fair price. The amount of serving you get really fills you up too. They're there Wednesdays to Sundays usually and start around 5 give or take. Mears are juicy and packed with flavor too. The dudes are hella nice guys too.
Outstanding taco place. There is literally a line always here since people from far out literally drive out to hit this place up. Unlimited toppings and super kind workers. The offer lengua which is delicious here. The asada is always so juicy and tender too. Definitely a 4 taco kind of place since theyre so good.

I live walking distance from this taco stand and I and my roommates have been here a stupid amount of times. My bus stop always drops me off in front of this taco stand after work and it's a struggle to not just get tacos every day. I usually get carne asada tacos. Al pastor is better elsewhere, it's a little dry here sometimes and not enough pineapple. The people are super kind as well. My roommate was short $1 one time and they waved it off - we of course ran back and got them the dollar since we're so close.
