Friendly staff and good food prepared right in front of you. I had tacos with carne asada and chicharrones. Excellent cilantro on top.

Solid tacos. I got al pastor and carne asada and it was so so juicy. They have a great selection of sauces and you can get onion, cilantro and radish cucumber. You can pack on all these things on your tacos. They also sell burritos. I love that you can get pineapple too on your al pastor tacos. You have to try this place. So fresh!

Located in Central Market in historic LA which is grittier than DTLA just so you know before heading that way. Much of this part of LA shuts down at 9p and metal doors cover most of the store fronts. Tacos Tumbras had more authentic meat selections than I've seen anywhere else. I got there late and they were out of a few things including lingua but they did have birria (stewed goat meat) and it was fantastic. I didn't love the Al Pastor as much but it was good. Tacos are $5 and I got 3 unwittingly but they stuff them so full of meat that I could only tackle 2. Chip and salsa were really good too. In short, I loved it and will go back when next in LA.

Best tacos I have had in SoCal. Very affordable with quality ingredients. Great salsas and sides too. Would recommend to anyone looking for bomb Mexican food.

Love the Al Pastor tacos! Every time we're in the area, we stop by for our favorite tacos.

Tacos Tumbre is located the the Central Market in downtown LA. I ordered the Al Pastor Gordita and it looked huge. I had to ask for some salsa on the side and it seemed like the guy was unhappy that I asked for it. He did give me a small side of salsa. When I sat down to eat the Gordita, the bread used was hard as a rock and it was so tough I couldn’t even bite into it. I ended up just eating the Al Pastor filling with a fork which was delicious. The portion was large and the meat was very filling. I would probably stick to a taco next time.

I love this taco stand. I've never had any issues with them and always taste good. . . Today I bought a pastor burrito and it was DRENCHED In grease! When I got home the bag the burrito was in was smothered in grease and oil. The burrito looked like a wet burrito. Took a bite and I just couldn't not eat it. Disappointing.

Absolutely delicious and fresh al pastor tacos, it's just a tent set up on the street in front of the target, but they are cranking out some amazing handmade tortillas with love

I really enjoy the burritos here. The HUGE and unfortunate issue I have is the non standard price for different customers. They do not have prices listed so they can upcharge and overcharge customers depending on who it is. If you are not a fluent Spanish speaker, you will pay anywhere from $8-$11 for a burrito. I have gone here at least 8 times and the price is always different depending on who services you. It sucks and they gossip about it Spanish to their coworkers. No one likes to feel cheated. Just post your prices. Boo!

They've got pollo, carne asada, al pastor, buche, and cabeza. If you order a burrito, they'll top the tortilla with meat, rice, and beans and then hand it to you to add onions, cilantro, and salsa if you want before rolling it. The food is good but lately the price will change for non-native Spanish speakers every time you go. I've paid $5-8 for the same burrito. $8 isn't crazy for what you get but why do this to regular customers? I'd rather go somewhere a little farther and less shady unless I'm too hungry to wait.

Huge portion! I got two pork tacos filled with enough meat to make 4 tacos! It was very good! Know that there is a long line. It's not just at the counter.
