Dude, I’m really impressed with this little spot. The food is flavorful, fresh, and not greasy, and the gentlemen working here are kind Sinaloenses who are easy to talk to. Authentic Mexican food without the fluff. The tacos are fairly priced and GOOD, the gringa is insane if that’s your thing.
If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, I highly recommend the bowl. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous (easily enough for two meals), and it’s hearty without being heavy.
This is my new spot. Maybe I’m a little biased since my family is also from Mazatlán, but trust me, this place is authentic and you feel good spending your money here.

Best tacos and prices in Highland Park. You have to try the vampiros and chorreadas. Oh an the best thing? $2 dollar tacos, so order a bunch. They only accept cash.
Decent taco truck in Highland Park. Cash only. Good for a bite after hitting up the bars on Figueroa. Their salsa is nice and spicy. Great location. You can walk up or find quick street parking or use the shopping center lot. Their asada and pollo are just ok but I liked their al pastor and cabeza.
