Food was great in taste, presentation, and in the amount that was given. It was my first time here and I am extremely satisfied with the service, quality, quantiti, and price was excelente! I will be returning here and letting my friends know as well.

My brother bought some when they were13 dollars a pound delicious worth it. Went today to get a pound for the both of us and it had some strange taste to it like shrimp or some kind of fish taste to it. Definitely a fan of carnitas we still ate them hopefully we don't get sick from them.

Tacos el pecas one of the most overrated places around East LA. I tried not one time or two. I tried a 3rd time and took my Family there because I wanted to see if it was me that was being a little picky. NO Sir I was not! Dude tried to talk down to me. Not only that my Older son saw the low quality taste and meat but the tacos are tiny the horchata had a bad taste. My whole Family moved away from that lunch truck disappointed. Just plain and simple you like bad food that's the place to hit. One more thing I notice the times I ate there my burrito had meat this time my son took a burrito to go for his friend the burrito had little to no meat lmao. Be careful people pay attention to that. Be safe!

Tacos are tiny (like two bites), but so delicious!! Cash only. Accepted Zelle for us. We got 2 tacos, burrito, cebolla/jalapeño (so delicious), piña juice for $10. Love that this place is still affordable. Ambiance? They park at a car wash so there is tons of parking options at night. There is also ample street parking. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating. Service was fast. I thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return.

The best carnitas! I recommend the red chilaquiles burrito with carnitas, the best breakfast.

I've been a loyal customer at this fantastic taco spot for over a decade. The service is consistently amazing and attentive, the place is well-lit and clean, and the food is simply wonderful. Recently enjoyed a delightful $8.00 dinner at @tacoselpecas1 - undoubtedly the best in LA for its delicious flavors and budget-friendly prices! A hidden gem to keep tabs on for the latest on hours and locations. It's a taste that not only meets but exceeds expectations without hurting your wallet!

After a long trip I stopped by to El Pecas and did not disappoint! Customer service is great, fast and friendly. Their tacos are a bit small but meats are full of flavor and their salsas are so good too.

Some of the VERY BEST tacos I've had in LA. Wow. The asada was grilled to perfection; the sides were perfectly balanced.

Heard lots of good thing about Tacos El Pecas, but not all were true unfortunately. The service part is true, in the sense that all the staff is really nice and welcoming. The food comes out fairly fast, so even when you're starving, you won't have to wait too long for your food to be ready. As for the food, I tried tacos of almost all of their meats: asada, pastor, suadero, and lengua. Out of these, the pastor and lengua were my favorite. I have to say that their pastor is not one of the best I've had, but I'd recommend going with this if you're trying out Tacos El Pecas for the first time. The seasoning was not up to par with my favorites'. I really liked their lengua. It was nicely chewy and meaty. I'm not the biggest fan of carne asada when ordering tacos, and this spot did not change my mind about it. Their suadero was the most disappointing about my visit unfortunately. It was a bit dry, and the meat did not even look like the suadero I'm used to. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a mistake on the type of meat. Their tacos are $1.50 and are pretty small as other reviews mention. They do have a salsa bar, and one of the biggest highlights is that they also give you grilled onions and jalapeño upon request. Huge plus for me for any taqueria to have add-ons such as this at no additional fee! Make sure you bring cash as they don't accept credit card!
