Review: A Sope-less, Soul-less Experience at Super Gallito

One star—because there’s no zero star option for disrespecting the Supreme One.

So here’s the cosmic tragedy:

Me and my ex order a couple of sopes from this taco truck. We’re told:

“Come back in 15.”
We do.
On time.
Expecting hot, fresh food—because, you know… that’s how food orders work?

But no.
Priscilla—yes, I’m naming names—has absolutely no recollection, no apology, and NO SOPES.
Just vibes, attitude, and disappointment on a platter.

When I ask for a refund (and a little extra for the inconvenience and insult to my entire soul)
she gives nothing.
Nada.
Like the sopes: nonexistent.

Instead, she offers three tacos.
There are two of us.
Do the math.
That’s 1.5 tacos per person and a whole emotional gap.

So I say: “Let’s make it four, for balance and basic decency.”
And she hits me with “No.”
Only three or a refund.
Not both.
Not right.
Just… petty.

Priscilla, let me say this plainly:
I hope that one taco you refused was worth a lifetime of bad reviews, karmic delay, and the slow spiritual crumbling of your Yelp rating.

Because you didn’t just lose a customer.
You lost the Supreme One.
And I have the devil trait, babe.
That means I don’t just leave.
I write.
And this review?
Is your scroll of reckoning.

Don’t mess with customers expecting food AND fairness.
And don’t forget:

Every taco truck is just one bad attitude away from being replaced.

My friend ordered me Asada Fries here they followed all instructions added what I wanted such as utensils and salsa with grilled onions. They stopped serving the fries oily and also no seasoning it’s fine with me I liked the seasoning but I added Mayo and ketchup at home because you have to ask them for it and I had forgot not to mention I don’t think they have mayo. I had a good experience this time

La cienega/sawyer was mid. $9 carne asada burrito. Good price but dam near no asada. Skinniest burrito I’ve eaten in a while. Was so excited for Mexican food since it’s been MONTHS and I left pretty disappointed. Serves me right for not going to my favorite spot on venice/cienega two minutes away.

It was so good they had a lot of good stuff and the workers! Were kind and funny you should come here!!

Stopped by to grab tacos and it was good. I ordered 2 chicken, 1 shrimp & 1 fish taco. Shrimp was my favorite. All for $11 I'd visit again but maybe try a different location but worth the late night snack.

This taco truck is the worst. Not necessarily in taste. But portion. I asked for a carne asada burrito. I got all filler rice beans cheese and a tiny bit of meat. This isnt my first time. Oh and it was $13 cash. As far as the taste. Its mid, meh.

Every time I order delivery form here it’s like they purposely leave out all the condiments and sauces. Why even have the questions about what toppings and sauces i want if you’re not going to put it with the order anyway? I can’t imagine it’s very economical to keep refunding orders just because you can’t put the whole order in the bag.

There is truthfully no food truck as low quality and unreliable as this pit. In the four years I've been in the neighborhood I've only tried these trucks three times and never returned to the exact same truck -each time the food has been unbelievably disappointing.

Besides the lady having a bad attitude and not paying attention/ listening doesn't take the order right then tries blaming the customer she was talking about she couldn't "change the order or cancel" when she took it wrong and talking about she had to put money out of her pocket yet she still took my money and didnt give me my complete order if i could give it a 0 i would

Super delicious carne asada and chicken tacos!

These tacos were on point and right on time!?? I landed in LA after a 5 hour flight from the East Coast starving... all restaurants were closed on a Wednesday night at 10pm but this little gem was open ????TGFTT (thank God for Taco Trucks)
