Taglyan Complex

I would like to share my recent experience at the Taglyan Complex, which I believe warrants your attention.

During my visit, I was struck by the stark contrast between the expectations set by the venue and the reality of the dining experience. The pricing structure, at $280 per person, felt excessive given the quality of the food and service provided. It seemed as though the establishment was prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction, which I found disappointing.

At our table of 13, ($3,640) we anticipated a lavish meal that would justify the cost. However, the portions served were minimal, reminiscent of a fast-food experience rather than a fine dining occasion. For instance, when I inquired about the seafood plate, I was met with confusion from the staff, who seemed unaware of my request. This lack of communication resulted in my receiving a plate that was subpar, akin to what one might expect from airline catering.

The filet mignon served was undercooked and unappetizing, and the overall presentation of the dishes left much to be desired. Additionally, the staff appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic, which further detracted from the experience.

In summary, I would rate my experience at the Taglyan Complex as a 1 out of 10. I cannot recommend this venue based on the service and quality of food we encountered, and I suspect that many others who attended that evening share my sentiments.

Excellent place for a beautiful party

Gorgeous Venue. I helped with the Writers of the Future Event here and it was an amazing venue to hold this incredible event.

Very nice place for parties and weddings. Nice atmosphere, street parking, or valet parking available. Service is very good, and so is the food. Would come back

The pace looks truly grand once you pull into their driveway. They really know how to put on a show with the screen to welcome you to the particular event. The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

Building manager and staff are friendly. Good location hall for events, easy to access.
About 50% of the time valet are, aggressive, rude, and unfriendly. Almost actively working to not get tips.

Beautiful place

Such a beautiful place for a party that's classy, elegant and the staff was amazing!

i had my wedding here last year and never got to writing a review, but i am so happy we chose to work with this venue for the wedding. Hovic was great to work with, and the service, food, drink, and attention to detail are seriously 5 stars. they really helped make the day so smooth and special, worked closely with our planner and vendors to ensure a beautiful day, allowed us to celebrate all night. could not give enough thanks to this team.

OWNER is extremely disrespectful and chooses to drink on the job and steal bottles from bar. Completely unprofessional for yelling at the venders drunk making threats.

Really Amazing ?

I live across the street from this place and they disregard all sound ordinances. They regularly set up speakers in their courtyard that blasts music way too late into the night. Or have music so loud inside that it's audible across the street with my windows closed. They make no attempt to keep guests quiet when leaving the venue and regularly have drunken guests crowd the sidewalks waiting for their rides as late as 2am. Even their own caterers and staff stand out front shouting and loudly talking sometimes as late as 4am. I know others in my building have reached out to the venue with complaints and nothing is really being done. It really feels like it is getting to the point we need to get a decibel meter and start reporting it the LAPD noise enforcement to get this place fined.

Beautiful art deco style venue, food-wise good presentation, but food is just ok
