My team at work decided they wanted to go out for breakfast and this was that place of choice. Their options were so good it was hard to choose. I ended up with the French Toast Special and was so happy with my choice. The French Toast Special comes with french toast, 4 wings, and eggs. I loved every bit of it and couldn't have been happier. I would definitely go back to try more options.

OK Idk why this place has a 4 1/2 stars or it used to be a nice place when it was just a coffee shop further up Crenshaw years ago .. AnyWho my best friend and I went here for breakfast Sunday morning. It wasn't that busy. We sat down got a coffee the coffee was lukewarm was definitely not hot. The waitress asked it back in the microwave. I should've known it was unsanitary because normally restaurants don't take back things after has been at the table and take it back to the kitchen area in fear of cross-contamination from other germs. ( what if I had Covid )I put my lips on the cup already. OK so my bff suggested we have the sashu and rice Asian dish pork and rice. Pretty simple. I always eat Asian rice or sushi rice. It's just a staple for me but anyway they didn't use Asian rice so that was a let down The food was kind of lukewarm. It wasn't that hot then after eating half of my meal under my rice, I see a big black hair (my hair is blonde) I was totally disgusted. I turned around and looked in the kitchen. Nobody had on his hair nets. It was just guys with baseball caps turn back backwards. The waitress took back the order and took the it off the bill personally to me to let this be discreet but I like informing people of things what happens at restaurants. She should've took care of the whole bill. It was disgusting. I don't know if my best friend ate hair or not But $24 for lukewarm coffee & pork with non Asian rice wasn't a deal to me.

Maybe the best Loco Moco I've had - certainly the best Loco Moco gravy. A great neighborhood joint with a varied menu - something for everyone.

This coffee shop is reminensent of my teen years ... my favorite uncle owned this shop, which was called Mojo's. Another uncle had his hair salon, Mikado's also in Crenshaw Square!I had chicken wings and waffles. My cousin let me take home her chicken salad sandwich and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Kinda like "Cheers." Where everyone knows your name, the regulars, and very accommodating. I saw a man taking up a booth and moved his food to the counter, so an elderly woman and her caregiver daughter could sit in the booth.

I have eaten a Tak's many times and enjoyed their service and food. This day I was overcharged, the menu had one price and the bill had another. The server never returned to ask if there was anything else we needed or wanted. Pay attention to your bill!!!
