This may be the best food truck in LA. Incredible quality and value. Would give Takuma 10 stars if I could. The okinamiyaki burrito is one of the most original meals I’ve had in LA and so delicious. The chicken sandwich comes with two massive cutlets that are perfectly fried and moist. I’ve also had the churros and they were incredible. Please keep coming back to Playa Vista!

It’s a special experience when one bite immediately makes me jump onto leave a review. I have no idea how this place has 3.5 stars, it’s delicious. The food was prepared quickly, yet is so fresh. Flavors are fantastic, basil ketchup is a triumph. And so affordable! A fresh, delicious sandwich with fries and a drink for $15!!! Few places in LA are comparable. Check it out!

Exceptional burgers, other yummy items and service. You can tell Takuma really takes pride in his food and presentation. This is one of the best burgers in LA. His sauces are also unique and delicious and it's one of the only places I know that offers waffle cut fries. Highly recommend.

Omg! I have seen this food truck parked on street everytime i go Mitsuwa market but for some reason never interested. I saw the owner who I believe Takuma getting ready for opening. Talk to him and I feel really comfortable right away.i am veggitalian so picked croquettes burgers. OH MY GOD!SOO GOOD Yum yum yum!I am now big fan and my fiancee loved cheese burger. We will come by every time go LA for sure! Thank you so wonderful fine burgers:-)

Love love his burger patty! Thick, juicy and flavorful! Did I say thick?I'm not fond of smashed burgers so finding someone with thick and juicy burger patties in west LA makes me very excited to eat burgers again.His chicken sandwich too is literally thick and that chicken is moist.He has a secret menu which you can find if you study his Instagram page. Ordered the off-the-menu 'tower burger' which is beef patty+portobello mushroom. I highly recommend.Also this is not fast food so prepare to wait a little bit for good food from Takuma himself.I really believe his burgers belong in one of the best burgers in Los Angeles list.

You can tell he’s very detail-oriented and puts a lot of thought into the amazing food he’s creating. We had the croquette burger with curly fries, the quesadilla, and churros. First off— the 1 star reviews are baseless. Do some digging and you’ll see that they’re either fake or the type of people who are drowning in their own misery for one reason or another. Yikes. (On a side note, if you know people like that in your life, walk away).Onto the review:Takuma is seriously an ARTIST. It’s the small details and you’re going to savor every single bite. Had the croquette burger (potato patty). It was EXCEPTIONAL. Even the way Takuma wraps it up for you is just absolute precision. Customer service is next level. First found Takuma late one night by the reservoir, the sudden stumble felt destined. The street light that was illuminating the establishment even looked like a heavenly spot light shining upon it. It’s definitely an LA staple. I can’t emphasize how important it is for anyone to experience Takuma’s humble yet cunning culinary craftsmanship. Anywhere this place goes, I will follow. I always speak of Takuma highly, I’d recommend it to the world if I could! Ignore the 1 star rated hater spams, this place is BEYOND legit and triumphs above all.
