This may be the best food truck in LA. Incredible quality and value. Would give Takuma 10 stars if I could. The okinamiyaki burrito is one of the most original meals I’ve had in LA and so delicious. The chicken sandwich comes with two massive cutlets that are perfectly fried and moist. I’ve also had the churros and they were incredible. Please keep coming back to Playa Vista!

Walked past Takuma's food truck and was immediately intrigued by the variety on the menu. I ordered the burger combo with the crab cake burger and waffle fries. The crab cake burger was delicious, very balanced with the amount of fresh veggies, plus a great tanginess from the Japanese sauce. The waffle fries with basil ketchup were an unexpectedly great compliment. Takuma was very friendly and ran a great operation with the food coming out quickly. 10/10 would recommend. Hopefully his truck pulls up around Santa Monica/Ocean Park more often!

One of the Best burgers in LA! The patty is flavorful and juicy, bun is nice and toasted, the arugula is fresh, sauces are amazing, and their fries are crispy and delicious. I will definitely be eating more of his burgers.

Takuma's burgers has been in Los Angeles for over seven years. I remember when he was a simple Burger cart that was in front of the shortstop. The other day I was walking in Little Tokyo, super hungry, not wanting the typical Ramen and Takuma's burgers was like the light at the end of the tunnel. Not only is the burger, extremely solid top with arugula, but the fries are delicious and his churro custard desserts are to die for. He gave my friends and I free dessert and we ended up hanging out and eating in front of the truck and talking with some other people. I love seeing Takuma out and about and I can't wait to the next time I can taste his burger

Takuma's Burger is the best dining discovery I stumbled upon in the last 3 years of living in Los Angeles. I found his food truck (more like a mobile Izakaya) when it was conveniently parked outside our neighborhood. The food is of the highest quality, made entirely fresh right when you order it. It is absolutely worth the wait. I've ordered the Chicken cutlet sandwich, the yakisoba burrito, and the burger. I would highly recommend all 3 items. He is in different locations each day/week, so follow his social media for his next planned location! I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality Japanese style food with a modern/fusion influence. Also, Mr. Takumi is so nice and genuine. Definitely glad to be supporting his business.

Takuma's burger truck is awesome! Not only is his food incredible, but the owner himself is super nice and passionate. When my friend and I told him it was our first time, he actually came out of his truck and into the cold to explain his whole menu to us. He even explained the steps of how he cooks it, which in my opinion he's a wiz because he knows how to keep the flavors inside the dishes. I suggest going to his food truck and trying everything because you certainly will not be disappointed.

Chef Takuma takes the best of both worlds- traditional Japanese culinary techniques and flavors from his family recipes, and incorporates them with staple American favorites to make some of the most unique and tasty burgers, burritos and quesadillas. It's always so hard seeing small businesses like @takumasburger struggle during this difficult time, and I would highly recommend checking them out while you still have the chance. I had a Veggie Croquette Burger combo with Takoyaki and both were really really good. The burger is huge! yummy creamy croquette with tonkatsu sauce matched with fresh tomato, arugula. The bun was toasted just right, soft and delicious. Takoyaki was soooooo good!! Crispy outside and creamy inside with a lot of real chunk of octopus inside. The owner, Takuma is a true chef. You can tell when you taste his food. I will keep going back and try every item on the menu!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm so glad that I finally did! I was so impressed with the quality of food and Chef Takuma's unique flavor creation. I tried Takoyaki and the croquette burger and they were both amazing. It was restaurant quality food at a food truck price. I can not rave enough about this place and I can not wait to try everything on the menu! Chef Takuma also is so nice. Great service on top of great food. This place is a must try!
