Drove home from picking up my food to find out things were missing. Called to ask if food could be remade due to their mistake… typical non-compassionate response. Completely unapologetic. It’s unfortunate when I try to support local community businesses and their customer support is sub-par. My husband ended up going to the grocery store for the items to complete my meal. We need to do better.

I was told Tal’s Cafe has the best pancakes in LA, and they absolutely live up to the hype. The pancakes were fluffy, perfectly cooked, and the butter really set them off. Hands down the best pancakes I’ve had in California. The waitress was amazing and everything is cooked to order, so there is a little wait, but it’s completely worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely Amazing Service, Atmosphere and Food. Right at home in Los Angeles. We treated our nephew to breakfast and he ate everything to be 9 yrs old. This establishment deserves more than 5 stars. The food and hot chocolate were delicious.

We walked in and was greeted by Ms. Melody who is an absolute jewel. She provided amazing service and give some great recommendations. I ordered the fried chicken (5 pieces) breakfast with eggs, home fries and sourdough bread. And thoroughly enjoyed my meal! My daughter (13yrs old) who's extremely picky ordered the French toast and sausage breakfast with a side of hash browns, and let's just say I didn't hear a word while she ate and she's now taking a nap! Lol My Husband ordered the Red snapper breakfast with eggs, home fries and grits and this food critic had nothing but good words to say about the Snapper's flavor and how the grits were like mines (that's a compliment!) Our tab came up to $88. which included a tip. It was definitely worth every dime, from the service, portions and quality. I felt bad for having to change our order at the last minute to a to-go order but again Melody and the staff understood and accommodated our request. Thank you again... I pray many blessings over you all and the business! Unfortunately I can't provide pictures because we devoured it before I could thick to take them.

Literally waited for 15 minutes for somebody to acknowledge me and when I ordered they didn't tell the cook the order so I waited another 15 minutes then just left because I didn't want to lose my temper. One girl was on the phone the whole time. The other lady was just playing with her gadget.ik embarrassed for them and disappointed

Came Christmas morning first time.I pulled a quick turn and stop in.I walked in to family, folk new the staff, sat at the counter Staff right in front of you..I like it old fashioned. The Food made up for some minor fails..Outstanding favor and presentation. had to ask for my coffee 10 minutes after placing my order, beautiful plate, arrives. had to ask a brother to chairs down for ketchup five minutes later the super busy woman in charge to get me some jelly for my toast. I give grace for it all... It was a wonderful place to be my second christmas since my queen went home.

We decided to visit Tal’s based on the recommendation from @latryguy. It did not disappoint! Everything was exceptional. Their orange pancakes are memorable. The grits were buttery and delicious. The seasoning on the potatoes was perfection. The portions were large. The service was excellent. It was our first time but we felt right at home. Highly recommend!
