We've eaten at The Tam numerous times since 1993, and have always enjoyed the food. We went for lunch on a recent Sunday and had a generally pleasant experience. While our server was very friendly and courteous, we questioned the amount of training they'd received. We are used to a server approaching our table and giving us the usual welcome, and then, 'Would you care for drinks?', 'Are you ready to order?', etc., and be in charge of the dining experience....

The food was very good and the atmosphere is charming. It would be nice if you could order from the pub menu in the main restaurant. Also, our server was very dry and matter of fact. We heard other servers welcoming the guests, engaging in conversation and offering insight into the menu options. We got "are you ready to order?". As a mood starter, that kinda sucks, and it pretty much stayed that way throughout the meal. We'll probably come back, but certainly hope...

The speakeasy night was so much fun. The music was excellent, the drink menu was extensive, the food was tasty, and all the staff were so friendly & attentive. Such a fun experience!
