I took my family because they rave about how delicious the food is and I've been taking them to Liliana's since they were little. Our waitress, Romy, was such a delight. She really went out of her way to make us feel at home. Such a sweetheart.
These tamales taste homemade in the best way—soft masa, flavorful fillings, and generous portions. The pork in red sauce is my go-to, but the cheese with jalapeño is a close second. They sell out early, so plan to arrive before noon. Cash-only, so come prepared. Easily one of the best tamale spots in town.
We have had pozole, caldo de rez, gorditas, flautas and tamales. Everything is delicious.
