This was quite disappointing for a number of reasons. One, the drinks are either WAY too sweet or no sugar at all!! Second, toppings like lychee and boba are not squishy, but strangely firm. Third, is there no sugar level or anything that we can control?? If there is, we were never informed of it by the person we ordered to.

travelled from Singapore to LA for a few months and my asian tastebuds were craving a good ol' milk tea, i chanced upon tan-cha while i was in ktown. only downside is the parking- there were no available lots nearby so we had to park somewhere and walk about 10-ish mins.
i love the aesthetic of the shop, it was extremely clean and cozy! we were the only ones there so we got our drinks really fast. i ordered the milk tea creamio and it was pretty good. i would def go there again to try out other drinks!! :)

I normally get my milk tea at a lower sweetness level, so the foam was a tad too sweet on its own, but it worked well with the milk tea at the ‘less sweet’ level. The boba itself was also spot on: perfectly soft and chewy, and with good flavor. Pricing was about right for bubble tea, in fact I’d say it was pretty good for a specialty drink of this quality.

It's a cute place that provides good boba if you're in KTown LA. The packaging is cute and the beverage tastes great, with so many options to choose from. My only issue is that there is not a lot of parking especially during Friday rush hour.
