Food was great. Went on a Thursday night and ordered the weekly lobster special. 46 dollars for a whole lobster dinner. Service also was excellent. One small complaint, they did not have a lobster fork

If you aren’t eating here you're missing out. There are all these “cool” or “trendy” fish places where you spend $400 for dinner. This is bar none, the best fish restaurant for your money in the Venice, Mar Vista, Culver area.

Came on a Wednesday and the oysters were quality and FRESH. Beautiful, untumbled oysters grown in the placid estuaries of Washington. The barnacles on the shells were still alive. Tasted just like ocean. Kind of pricey, but worth it with happy hour pricing.

Seafood lovers this place is a must

I never thought I’d say this, but this place is completely ruined. I’ve been coming here for four years — it used to be a great seafood spot. Now the prices have doubled, the portions are smaller, and frankly, the smell of the fish makes you question its freshness. It’s no longer tasty. The service has always been terrible, but the food used to make up for it. Now everything’s bad. I won’t be coming back.

It wasn’t all a ten because my entree was a little too salty. But the seafood is definitely fresh!

Highly recommend the shrimp ceviche especially during happy hour prices!

For a fish market, it doesn’t smell! Love that there’s a spot for take home raw and then you can also dine there!

I can’t believe what just happened to me! I went to TANGAROA for some smoked fish. Got there a noon, the place was wide open. Walked in & a guy said we aren’t open. I said I just want some smoked salmon from the market. He said the market is closed. We don’t open till 12:30. I looked around @ said I was disappointed. He said it’s all over instagram & walked away. I walked out angry 😡. The website states hours Tuesday-Sunday 11:30-7:30. I have enjoyed the fish there however due to there inconsistency & rudeness I WILL NOT TO BACK!!!!!!

Every time we have a good experience with the food. But the servers are rude and unhappy. It’s unfortunate because we would frequent more often.

This place is insanely good! Have been here twice in the last month and honestly still thinking about the fish tacos!! My first visit with friends we indulged in the incredibly fresh seafood they offered. I got the fish and chips which was a generous portion, my husband the poke bowl which he can’t stop gushing about. The second time I opted for the fish tacos which that day was fried/grilled mahi mahi, it was beyond expectations so flavorful light and luscious! Honestly I’m on my way back it’s too good

I love this place and the entire menu. my only complaint is they removed the lamb burger last year and I can't help being haunted by its loss every time I come. The salmon burger is amazing though

Just got lunch here and everything was wonderful! The oysters were SO fresh and delicious. Our server Clark was so incredibly kind and gave us such a great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Food is fantastic. Service is awesome, Clark behind the bar is a true professional. Would recommend you stop by if you’re in the mood for some excellent fish.
