Los Anaya is new for us. We really liked it. It is a cute place sort of in Mid City. It has take out, delivery and dine in. We dined in. The place is not huge, but there was plenty of room for us. The place is super clean and decorated very nicely. The service is excellent. If you are dinning there you will have a server and he knows everything about the menu and the specials. We were there and Happy Hour specials were available. We took advantage of a couple of them and ordered the rest of the food off the regular menu which covers everything you want in Mexican/Yucatán food.We had the cheese enchiladas and they were not great and thus 4 stars instead of 5. They were tough and the sauce was boring. They also use low fat mozzarella and I have no idea why. It is not as good as regular and is anyone on a diet ordering cheese enchiladas, I think not. We won't have them again. The rest of the food was amazing though. We had the Happy Hour Cochinita Pibil, (Roast Pork with spices ) served Yucatán style and it was just about 9.50$. It came with rice and beans which were very good. We also ordered guacamole which was great. We decided to try grilled Serrano peppers and were so happy we did. They have great drinks, from sodas to sparkling water. I did not notice if they had beer.We really likes this place and will be back.

We are not locals, and were having a hard day in Los Angeles. But the moment we walked into Taqueria Los Anaya, we felt welcomed! Our server, Bruce, was on point with recommendations! The chef came by to the tables to ensure we were happy. I had no idea Mexican food could be as flavourful! This restaurant made our visit to LA.

“The ultimate authentic Mexican restaurant with a taste of Korea”When you come to America, Mexican food is really delicious. However, Calimax and Texmax are far from authentic because they contain a lot of American flavors. In particular, Calimax, which uses a lot of sour cream and tomatoes, is far from the Korean taste.#AuthenticMexicanSince I have never eaten Mexican food in Mexico, I have no standard for comparing what authentic Mexican tastes like, but if I say authentic Mexican in my own way...- Homemade corn tortillas- Various salsas (the salsa we know is a type of salsa called pico de gallo)- Intense green chili and red chili sauce- Rich spicy flavor using <Mole>I think this should be included. In particular, Mole is Mexico's unique chili sauce, similar to Korean red pepper paste, and its taste is very similar to red pepper paste. So Mexican restaurants that do not use Mole cannot be called authentic. In terms of Korean food, it is no different from claiming that it is authentic Korean food without soy sauce, soybean paste, and red pepper paste.#Los_AnayaIt is said that the original restaurant of this place was opened in Mexico by the Anaya family in 1983. Afterwards, it was at Taqueria Los Anaya that the three sons showed off the cooking they learned from their father. This is a restaurant with about 20 years of history where you can taste authentic home-cooked Mexican food handed down from Mexico.#atmosphereIt's a really cute and small restaurant.Mexican-style paper crafts and decorations... and the intensely colored walls are impressive. It was a cozy space that wasn't busy and had a cozy feel.#menuAlong with Mexican dishes using tortillas such as tacos, burritos, tortas, enchiladas, and fajitas, there is also a diverse lineup of special dishes such as breakfast menus and steaks. <Aquas Fresca>, a Mexican fruit drink that changes daily, and <Ochata>, a rice drink, also tempt customers.#tortillaThe homemade tortillas are very delicious. It's a very delicious corn tortilla with just the right amount of stickiness without being too corny. The thickness is slightly thicker than commercially available or from other restaurants, giving it a richer texture. These tortillas are an important factor in making the overall cuisine of this house more delicious.#Side menuA very important menu item in Mexican cuisine is the side menu. Mexican rice or beans would be such examples. The Mexican rice here is so flavorful and seasoned that it gets a thumbs up in just one bite. Of course, the texture of the rice grains is also ideal. The pinto bean paste is also not too savory and has just the right amount of flavor to melt into your mouth. These two elements play a role in boosting the taste of this restaurant even more delicious. The chips at this restaurant are also impressive... Compared to other Mexican restaurants, the chips are made with thicker tortillas and are thicker and crunchier. It is so rich that it is incomparable to the texture of thin chips, and the sticky texture in your mouth is very new.#tacoThe soft corn tortilla and mole sauce are impressive. The salsa made with savory and spicy mole goes well with the richly seasoned meat. Shrimp tacos with plump shrimp are also a specialty of this restaurant.#burritoI am once again impressed by the burrito.Beans, Mexican rice, and protein are included... Since this restaurant basically uses rice and beans, the burrito can't be delicious. I tried both fried fish and grilled shrimp... The quality of the fried fish and the cooking quality of the shrimp were very impressive. The rich cod fries seem to explode in your mouth, and the plump shrimp jumps in your mouth as if they are alive. I can't remember a restaurant that cooks shrimp as deliciously as this restaurant, and the shrimp are so perfect.Wet burrito options are available.Warm green chili or red chili sauce is sprinkled on the burrito, which greatly expands the flavor of the burrito. In particular, chili sauce is very important... A restaurant that mak
