The original tartine in San Francisco is up there with one of my favourite bakeries of all time. This is also excellent. - typical nice place to eat and chill inside and out but the pastries etc are exceptional.
Usually we love Tartine. One of out fav spots really. However, the last time at Tartine in SilverLake was a bit disappointing. The tuna sandwich, which is normally tall and delicious, it barely had any tuna - it was mostly bread. In the meantime, the place is really overpriced now, the service is not great and a bit disappointing too. Not worth the price, and I can only hope they improve.
Small , cozy place with the most delicioua food. The guy that took our order was cordial, knowledgeable to explain the menu. Also. He gave me the display booka to check then out. Try the lemon tart .. I mean beyond pleased with my visit!!
