Best Sourdough Bread!!!! Freshly baked bread
My daughter is new in town and stopped in just planning to grab a breakfast sandwich. From the moment she walked in, she was warmly greeted by three people, including (I believe) the manager, Johnny. He was so welcoming and made her feel right at home. Everyone here is incredibly kind, and the food is absolutely fabulous! Such a wonderful first impression. We will definitely be back again and again.

Amazing spot
Came to Tartine for the first time this weekend and absolutely loved it. Can't believe I didn't know about this hidden gem all this time. The menu is really extensive, and their fresh pastries and sweets amazing. I had the Breakfast Sandwich and the brioche was so soft, and the dill mayo divine. I ate every bite. The staff were super relaxed and friendly. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Recently ordered a Turkey club sandwich about 3 days ago July 28th. It was awful. Have been getting food for several years. I am requesting a refund. Food cost too much. The previous manager, Johnny was professional and now he's gone. What a big shame!😣
Good mix of pastries, hot breakfast and coffee

5 Stars
This place nails it on every level—coffee, food, people, vibe. The espresso is top-tier (trust the barista named Johnny—he knows what he’s doing), and the fresh bread is no joke: warm, crusty, and the kind that disappears before your food even hits the table. Every dish I’ve tried feels dialed in—simple, fresh, and done with care.
It’s also one of those rare spots that somehow pulls off being ideal for a work meeting, a casual hang, or just zoning in with your laptop for a few hours. The atmosphere is modern but warm, with just the right amount of bustle. You’re surrounded by a new little enclave of shops and restaurants, so it’s easy to turn a coffee stop into an afternoon outing.
General Manager Jonny runs the place with that rare combo of attention to detail and laid-back charm—you feel like a regular by your second visit. Between him and Barista Johnny, the service here sets the tone: friendly, fast, and actually thoughtful.
If you’re looking for a place that does all-day café right—this is it.

Love their avocado toast here which they top with delicious seasonings and micro greens- which I also like to add an over medium egg or fried egg to. They also have equally delicious pasty options which are worth a try!
I used to live in San Francisco and would frequent Tartine on the regular. When I started working a few doors down I was so excited to learn there was a Tartine here. It felt like I was in the right place in life hahah. I love stopping in to grab a chai latte and almond croissant or the occasional lemon tart. But honestly haven’t had something from here that I didn’t like. Great atmosphere if you are looking for a coffee date or somewhere to knock out some remote work.
Ouu the lemon loaf here was soo good! Will come back to try more things!
Orange Cream Puff and Strawberry Tart are really good
Been eating from tartine origin bakery in SF, gladly waiting in line for the impeccable pastries. Loved it when it so briefly opened as Manufactory in RowDTLA and as they’ve opened up all over LA…so, for me there’s no doubting the products, though it has for sure lost its taste soul. generic and unchangeable corporate soundtrack (of shite) blaring out algorithmic blandness, set to just loud enough to be irritating, is a little baffling to me. But more baffling was the unspeakably hostile barista - who, weirdly enough was pretty mean last time I was there. I could literally feel his contempt - manifesting as acute indifference - rolling off him in waves. Erm, what did I do to offend..?! But then I watched his treatment of other customers and he’s just the same. The rest of the staff are again completely indifferent, humorless and disconnected - less hostile perhaps. So, next time I find myself having to shell out $100+ for my family outing, I’ll just go to Proof, Milo & Olive, Sqrl, god knows there’s a million other personably run, beautiful and original bakeries in this city. My mistake. I’m the sucker.
