Small ramen shop on Sawtelle, but major upside is adjacent to a parking lot with the crazy parking situation at Sawtelle. All ordering via the Toast kiosk regardless if takeout or dine in. Nice all dente noodles, liked the tonkotsu broth which had a bit of sweetness.

I had an incredible experience at Tatsu! Gilly was an amazing chef, clearly talented and passionate about his craft. I ordered The Bold Ramen and was absolutely blown away. I wish I had taken a photo, but I went straight to eating and trust me, the presentation was stunning and the flavors were even better. Every bite was perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. Highly recommend if you're looking for a meal that delivers both visually and taste-wise. I’ll definitely be back!

I found this place based on many positive online reviews. As a big fan of ramen, I decided to try it out and ordered takeout. The restaurant itself looked nice, and the packaging was neat — everything seemed promising at first.
But that’s where the positives ended.
First of all, I specifically ordered non-spicy ramen because I planned to share it with my child. Unfortunately, I received a spicy one. I figured I’d just eat it myself — mistakes happen. But then I discovered that the noodles had a strong chlorine smell and taste, which made them basically inedible. Even though I was hungry, I could only manage a couple of bites before giving up — it was just too unpleasant.
I honestly don’t understand how this place is being recommended. Maybe I was just unlucky, but after this experience, I doubt I’ll be giving it another chance.
