Everything was delicious and elevated. Such a high quality atmosphere reflective of Brentwood. Highly recommend the indoor seating.
I enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner here. I'm sad this place is closing, it has a wonderful vibe, delicious food, and superb service. We're losing a local gem, but I hope its traffic will continue to frequent the other locations.
We are heartbroken that AOC Brentwood is closing on August 1! We have been devoted patrons since it first opened.
Wow how AOC has fallen. It was almost tolerable as a walk down memory lane, until we asked our waitress to skip the 6% surcharge for employee “health insurance.” She turned super surly. Affirmatively rude, which is too bad because our plan was to give her a very generous tip. Didn't happen. Also, why should customers be asked to donate to healthcare the employer is providing? Why not give customers a discount to pay their bills?
Our waitress had only been working there for 3 days. She had no idea what was on the menu, could not explain any of the dishes. Brought us wine to taste but never came back for the order. When we finally flagged her down and she eventually took our order... she only brought 6 oz even though we ordered 12 oz. Took her another course to bring the other wine. We did not receive our wine well until our main courses had already been served after asking multiple times. Gnocchi was served cold. Terrible dining experience
Definitely didn't have the top brass staffed on Mother's Day. A 5:45 reservation, the restaurant at 60% capacity and a kitchen that sends out dishes as they're done (vs traditional coursing), the food should have been flying out. Instead it was a 20-30 min wait just for cold bread and a bottle of wine, the somm pouring one glass and then darting quickly from our table instead of filling the other glasses and general neglect that sadly has become much more common place at LA restaurants, even nice ones like this.
Enjoyed a nice client dinner. The quality and flavor of the dishes did not disappoint. The staff were knowledgeable on the menu offerings and provided great recommendations. I will be back!
Excellent service, very good food, well prepared. The salad could have had a bit more zing, but everything was tasty and fresh. I liked the Alaska Martini prepared tableside. A very pleasant Saturday evening dinner with a friend from out of town. We are regulars.
The clam sauce was perfectly salted and buttery yet light. The toast was a thick cut that was soft yet toasted perfectly on the edges. The beef brisket was amazing as well. Highly recommend pairing it with the black rice and farro. Probably the best rice I ever had at a restaurant. The manager also recommended a sauce to go with our cauliflower, which was not too overcooked or too greasy. I would highly recommend coming here!
The atmosphere could have been better with some music. Guests here were talking very loudly and disturbed the ambiance.

All style no substance. Atrocious tasting food, bad service, and food takes foreveerrr to come out. We were at our table for 2 hours simply waiting for the food.

Food was ok! Waitress keeps mentioning it will be a big serving and encouraging sharing, but the food ended up pretty small serving lol! But service was good and atmosphere was nice!

Overall very good food. One salad was a little salty otherwise enjoyed the meal. Service was excellent!
Food was decent, but service was lacking. I asked for a coffee twice and never got it. These things happen, but my server rarely dropped by after taking my order so I couldn’t follow-up on it. We just got food runners and water refill staff coming by. They ended up putting the coffee on the bill so we had to ask them to correct it. The server asked “oh they never brought your coffee?” Seems like a common occurrence here based on other reviews.
Anyway, it was fine but nothing about it made me want to go back anytime soon.

A.O.C. Brentwood delivers every time. Chris at the wine bar is exceptional—attentive, effortless, and always on point. The focaccia with burrata and French fries were perfect, paired with a great glass of wine. Always a pleasure.

This has always been our favorite restaurant however the last 2 times have been disappointing. The service both times was not as expected though our server was very nice.
