Worst valet service ever
If you want to discover a typical Steak House, I recommend this restaurant!
The place is original in a "typical" decor all in a friendly atmosphere.
We took:
Turf and Surf, the suggestion of the day. The meat was perfect and tender, the shrimp went perfectly with the dish. Maybe a little too salty.
The only problem: the mash was smooth but the potato skin was still present (they literally just crushed the potato)
The pepper steak: too bad we only bring out the butter sauce and not the pepper sauce. Despite everything, quality and succulent meat.
The cooking of my steak didn't suit me, they cooked it again and even changed my potato! Little attention much appreciated
Overall, a great experience!
Parking: A valet on site - obligatory

Taylor's is a go-to spot for a classic steakhouse experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with dim lighting, nice artwork and comfortable seating throughout the restaurant. The service is exceptional from start to finish, including the valet attendant. I've been here a couple times and let me say every dish I've tried has been delicious. Highly recommend for a great anniversary or birthday dinner.

Went on a first date and we really enjoyed it. It has an old school romantic vibe. The steak was absolutely delicious as well as the mashed potatoes and the creme brulee was amazing. The spinach side we both didn't care for but everything else was superb.

Unbelievable how rude the female manager was. I am completely at a loss for words. We were treated like dirt. NO care. I do not recommend. The manager should be fired.
OUR EXPERIENCE IS QUITE SHOCKING!! Our valet gave us our car without the keys. My husband stopped for gas and was unable to restart the car because the keys were not returned to us. Taylors was completely unhelpful and unapologetic, showing absolutely no care in assisting us. They simply said the valet was a different company. Meanwhile, my husband was stranded in the middle of Hollywood at 12 a.m. I am completely appalled at their lack of concern. We spent over $500, and this is the appreciation we receive? "Oh sorry, we can't help you."
We don't live in LA so can't even describe how frightening this experience was. The female manager working never once said she was sorry. So was as cold as ICE. Truly in shock!
I hadn't been to Taylor's in probably 20 years, but it is still wonderful. I had the Wagu Surf and Turf. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I must not wait another 20 years. In fact, I expect it will be only a few weeks. More specifically, my 69 birthday in August.

Steakhouse dining should be all about quality, service and value, and Taylor's in Koreatown checks all the boxes. The wait staff were as knowledgeable about the menu as accommodating - if you have any questions, they will do anything to answer them or accommodate any special request.
The food was excellent. The steaks are perfectly, and individually, cooked in addition to being exceptionally meaty. We ordered a tomahawk, porterhouse, prime rib, along with a fish dish, some side dishes and salad - all were a step above my expectations.
Lastly, what I love about Taylor's - to name just one thing - are the prices. I feel that given the service and the food quality, it was worth every penny. I plan to visit them occasionally.

Classic Mad Men era steakhouse. The kind of place that makes you WANT to get dolled up for dinner even if you're dining solo but doesn't make you feel out of sorts for showing up in denim and sneakers.
Fairly affordable plates considering that it's steak but its so worth the splurge. Generous portions, great flavor, and even better service. Cocktails and desserts are superb, too! My only gripe is how dark it is inside.
I highly recommended the escargot. They are absolutely worth trying at least once.
Parking: It's Koreatown and a nice restaurant. Just opt for valet and save yourself the hassle of searching for street parking

I normally make my own steaks because no steak house makes them nearly as good as I do. Went to Taylor's steak house, and they had American Wagyu steak. I must say that I was surprised: the steak met and exceeded my expectations. The steak was moist and cooked exactly how I wanted it (see pics). I had it with Asparagus and wild rice. All was marvelous. The price was very reasonable. The service was no less than great.. I do have to add this comment to my review. The place smelled odd (maybe humid). I am not sure how to describe the smell. However, somehow, you get used to it. They have dry aged steak (see pics) yummy. Valet parking is available ($6 as of 27JUN24). You must make a reservation before you go. This will ensure you are seated almost as soon as you arrive. They take walk ins. However, reservations take priority.

10/10, great!
I was on my way to go to another neighborhood restaurant but saw Taylor's Steak House before I wanted to walk any further and I am glad that I did. Thought that as a vegetarian that I wouldn't have dinner but just a glass of wine at the bar while I regrouped, but the old school ambience captivated me along with the service from the bartender, Reese. I loved enjoying a salad and baked potato while people watching. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!
