This place has the friendliest staff, good music, and is the only boba spot in Sawtelle that has seating, outlets, and wifi so you can get some work done! Highly recommend as a hangout/study spot.

I ordered the Creamy Jasmine, but it didn't taste creamy at all. Since I asked for less ice, it's unlikely the flavor diluted from melting ice. I think I'd be better buying jasmine milk tea at another shop. I was also expecting it to look like the picture, but it was already mixed.

I’m usually a big fan of this place but today the music was extremely loud and made it hard to work. Even with noise-cancelling headphones, the heavy hard rock was distracting. When I asked staff to turn it down, they said a blunt no in a not very friendly way. They changed the track, but it wasn’t much better.

Went here to study after TeaMug Boba up the street closed down since they’re the only other place open late. Banana matcha drink was really good but pretty pricey. The worst part about this place is how LOUD they blast musical songs. I don’t dislike them, but if you’re going to play songs where the singers are acting out grunts of agony or misery, please don’t play it to the point where I can feel it reverberating through my seat. Had to keep my headphones at 75% volume just so I could try to focus. Overall really uncomfortable experience, don’t know if I would visit again.

Tried a lot of different drinks! I'm not a fan of banana flavor but the banana in the matcha and the honeycomb milk tastes quite subtle, and it's pretty fragrant. I also got the Vietnamese coffee frappe, which was more of a slushie because it was so foamy/liquid-y, rather than icy which I prefer. The liquid gold (oolong tea with cream) and lychee black tea had great tea flavor as well. Every drink was not overly sweet (some had sweetness adjustment to 20% or below). A good after-dinner treat if you're in the Sawtelle area!

Try their Ube Vietnamese coffee - its so good! 😍 The coffee is strong and the ube on top was creamy and added a different texture and flavor to the drink.

I got mine to-go and ordered online for pick up. The staff are friendly and got my order ready exactly when the app alerted me. It's also clean and cozy inside. I will definitely come back and maybe stay foe a while to get some work or reading done.

As with many other bubble tea shops, you'll find all kinds of different teas and coffees at Teaspoon Sawtelle.

We kept it simple and ordered the lychee black tea and house milk tea. Both were good and not overly sweet or bitter.

The staff was friendly, the shop was clean and prices were fair. If you need a boba fix, this place will do.

Their milk tea was so good! I love that they use lactose free milk! The shop is very cute and they have quite a few board games that you can barrow.
