Teddy’s is just as I would expect a classic cafe to be crowded, food comes out quick and prices reasonable. Service was great. Atmosphere is classic old school. I will be back,
Very homely atmosphere. Friendly customer service. Hot and fresh food. The parking lot is a little small and tight but there's two entrance/exits. There's no menu online but they do offer over the phone orders. I ordered the T-bone steak and eggs with fresh fruit, a pancake and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was all perfect and flavorful. Minimum wait time (10 mins or less). 10/10 highly recommend.

One of the last old school diners on the westside. Good prices and chill spot
I tried the quesadilla, plain eggs with potatoes, and hot cakes — everything tasted really good. The atmosphere was welcoming and the employees had a kind, friendly attitude.
Just a heads-up, this is a cash-only restaurant. They do have an ATM inside, and if you don’t have your card, Zelle is also accepted (which I ended up using).

Teddy’s is a true old-school diner in West LA, known for its classic American breakfasts and great value. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with a nice shaded patio. It’s cash only, with generous portions, friendly service, and even some tasty Mexican specials. A solid spot for a hearty meal!
Rustic type eatery. Would recommend.

Is this time I did ask for TBone, but it was not like usually I got, no flavor, over cooked and on top of this the waitress was so rude during the entire time and when I did complain with her about the food, she didn’t let me explain what I has to say about the T bone which is the most expensive plate in the evening menu.
I have been a client of Teddy’s for long time, all the workers over there had been very kind but not today. 07/ 11/2025
Teddy's Cafe is great! Nostalgic atmosphere has a real cozy and comfortable vibe! Food is tasty! Pictured is the Southern California Breakfast!
It's a classic and authentic American diner. We usually go there for lunch or sometimes for breakfast on weekends. Reasonable prices, professional service, ample parking, etc. It's perfect. They only accept cash and there's an ATM in the restaurant. I've been going there for 7-8 years and I think I'll keep going. It's a great experience for locals and tourists alike.
Great food
As I live nearby, I would drive by this place on a regular basis for years and finally went it, it is delightful. One sign of a great old style restaurant (to me) is a place that only takes cash, charming decor, excellent food, great value.
