Had breakfast at Tenampal and loved it! The Anthony Special is a must-try — half chilaquiles in mole and half in green sauce with eggs on top. So good! The café de olla was delicious too. The staff here are super friendly and make you feel really welcome. Definitely coming back!

Showed up Saturday around 11am. The chicken milanesa sandwich was fire. The server insisted I try this (nodded “no” after he pitched the sandwich and I said I wanted to try the enchiladas cause they were recommended). Glad I was… forced lol cause I wasn’t disappointed and apparently they switch up the menu periodically. We also ordered a veggie burrito which was very solid. It was toasted nicely once wrapped and all the ingredients stayed in the burrito. Win! 4 stars for atmosphere but they’re doing what they can’t with the limited space they’re working with. Will be back to try the enchiladas…. Hopefully 😅

One of the best chilaquiles you’ll ever have! I don’t say that often about food, but this spot is special. I bring all my people here, even my picky family members with sensitive stomachs. My uncle actually drives six hours from Hayward just to enjoy their café de olla and mole chilaquiles before coming to visit me in LA.

Horchata was housmade and delicious with hints of vanilla that were just perfectly balanced with cinnamon. Cant wait to try the jamaica next. Ordered the suadero beef tacos and they were delicious thank you to the chef leo and all staff this place is a hidden Gem!

Came here for lunch after taking our doggo to the vet. The food was delicious!! All the ingredients tasted fresh. This is a family owned, scratch kitchen restaurant. On the day we came we were served by a really kind guy who was working with his brother and nephew that day. He had lots of good recommendations and even made a special version of the chilaquiles for us. We also got the huaraches azul with egg which was AMAZING. Highly recommend!
