Let me start with its a very long line & wait.
The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Customer service is fantastic. But geez the long line up…we arrived at 1:25 they open at 1:30pm & there was a long line, I mean long but they did provide ice cold water which was refreshing & needed when standing in the sun for any length of time. By the time we got into the restaurant, order, pay & actually get our food it was 3:50pm. They have seating available once you get inside and wait another 30-45 min for your order so you can relax. Yes people thats how long the wait is. 2.5hrs to wait for food don't get me wrong like I said the food was great but just cant see myself waiting in line again for that length of time hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. I was told the line up is the norm.

Today , Sat was my first time going to the restaurant . Order Oxtail combo , it was delicious ? well worth the price n the wait time was over 2 hrs. Staff was friendly n nice ?? I wish they would hand out tickets before ordering. I would suggest to be there an hour before n take a chair n ☂️n a water bottle bcz you are gone need it.

Roaches crawled in dining area. Long wait standing in line like you’re signing up for food stamps. I’m talking waiting 2 hours+, they sell out of food while customers are in line and after the long wait the food is gone. Very inefficient way to run a business. I also heard they treat their employees that are not family like trash. Tuesday-Friday the food quality is similar to eating leftovers (stale) but Saturday and Sundays they seem to have different cooks, the seasoning and taste of the food is better.

The food portion, quality and customer service is impeccable, however the efficiency in which the business is ran needs significant improvement. There needs to be a system where customers can order food ahead of time to decrease wait times in lines as well as being able to keep track of what is running low, becoming sold out, etc. It’s terrible business, disappointing, and frustrating when people wait 45+ minutes outside in line in the cold just to get to the front and find out that the items they wanted are sold out. Perhaps, prepare more of the items that are likely to become sold out and update social media pages as the day goes on so people are aware and aren’t wasting their time.

The wait is absurd. An hour plus line is not a good thing, it’s a testament to a lack of care for customer experience. Imagine pregnant and disabled people trying to stand outside that long while it’s drizzling and chilly. No food it worth that type of experience.

Was visiting from DC. Needed somewhere to eat after the flight, found this place on TikTok, and came here straight from the airport. Before they were even opened there was a small line. We soon found out why - The food is INCREDIBLY delicious! Hands down the best Caribbean food I’ve had thus far. We ordered the lamb chops and teriyaki chicken. Each meal came with cabbage, white rice, and Mac & cheese. The even included a koolaid drink. Everything was jammed packed with flavor, hot, and fresh. The lamb chops were super juicy. Took only 20 min to receive our food after ordering. There was also a kind gentleman who gave us water in line while we waited for the food.
I will be making it a tradition to come here every time I touch down in LA.
If you want oxtail keep in mind they are only available Saturday and Sunday!

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting here on 10/12/24 while in LA for Fashion Week...10/10! Atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff felt like family. Service was top tier and Shardae really took care of our ALL LADIES group. The food was amazing, seasoned to perfection and prepared with love n respect. So much so we asked to meet the cook. He gladly came out to greet us and even agreed to have his photo taken with us 5 ladies...what a refreshingly very handsome young chef. Oxtails were finger sucking delicious. It don’t make no damn sense how good ALLLL of my food was!!! Very flavorful and comforting I ordered the beef short ribs, and jerk chicken plate. My roommate ordered the oxtails and I tried one phewww ?? goodness ???That Mac n cheese and cabbage is a perfect 5/5. As I’m eating my food I’m like ahh man they forgot my rice, and peas…. sure enough nothing but rice and peas all under my ribs and chicken that whole plate was **HEAVY** LOTS of meat, and worth the wait and time ?? ?????????? I can’t wait to try **ALL** of their items!
