Old man who sits in the back parking lot is a miserable piece of you know what! Younger guy (looks like old man’s son/relative) is his whiney whipping boy! Do yourselves a favor & DON’T DINE HERE!

Restaurant, staff & food are beyond help. My sister & I were literally verbally/physically accosted over a parking space dispute & we are considering filing a police report! I cannot wait until these people go out of business!

Food was okay, we were the only people sitting inside besides the owner who sat at a table in front of us watching tv- he kept looking over probably to make sure we were enjoying the food. a little strange. food came fast, there was a cricket on the floor beneath us and it jumped on our feet so then i lost my appetite. when we got our check the food was a few dollars more than listed on the menu- they charged us 2$ extra for carry out boxes too? - the food ended up being really expensive and disappointing. i won't be going back, hopefully they can improve this place.

I stopped there for lunch , to my surprise no lunch specials /combinations , ordered panang curry (red) chicken , was ok but a bit bland on side of salty, also rice did not come with entree so total for a fairly small portion entree lunch was 19$ , IMHO pricey for quality/quantity of food. Won't be going back , better Thai deals around.

Only have ordered take out so can't comment on eating inside. Food has great portions and is quick to be prepared. Very delicious! The drunken noodles, curries, and spring rolls have all been great meals. The staff has always had my meal ready to pick up when I arrive during the pickup window they provided and the food is still hot by the time I get home. There isn't a spicy level option when ordering online, so I recommend saying what you're preferred level in the order notes.

I have been here once and the staff is terrible, whoever thinks coming this restaurant it’s definitely a wrong choice, they don’t know how to treat people and have the worst attitude I have ever experienced in my life. Very Bad people and very bad

The food was pretty good but I'm giving 2 stars because of the following... I was charged for a takeout styrofoam container! I asked to have the peanut sauce that had come with my meal to be put in a to-go container but instead the waiter brought me a container with peanut sauce and charged me $2.50. When I asked to have that charge removed, because I had clearly stated I wanted to take the peanut sauce I had with me, he refused, and I had to pay. I wouldn't trust this place.

Food used to be Amazing. The fired a few workers & after that the food went downhill. If you want better Thai Food, hit up Treehouse Thai 1/2 mile east on Venice. The service is non-existent & sometimes borderline rude. The old Asian man in the back yells too much. Parking is bad too.The ambiance is dark & crude inside. Terrible.

This location of Thai Boom used to have great lunch specials that included rice, salad, and an egg roll at a decent price - but no longer. I think the location in Beverly Hills does have lunch specials - not sure if the locations are related. Since I was already here, I decided to get the cashew chicken. It's deceptive how they note it in the menu - under Veggie dishes, it's $14.95 for the 'spicy cashew.' But you pay an extra $2 for chicken and an extra $2.95 for 1 scoop of white rice. So it cost me $20 dollars for a small-ish serving of food before tax and tip! Come on!
