First time visiting here. My family and I loved the atmosphere, the food, wine, and drinks. I definitely recommend this place. It transport you to a different environment. The area seems sketchy, but once you're inside, you forget about where this place is located. Exceptional customer service. Bernardo, my waiter was excellent.

Lunch at Bistro as Belle as our server was nothing but amazing. Will definitely want her to assist me next time. Thank you Belle. Then after Tom and i believe it was Edgar or Edwin ( so sorry don’t remember his name). But both made my day extra special. We can’t stop talking about this experience. It was amazing. Thank you all very much

Food - Excellent by a chef whom I consider the best!! Service is very good - attentive to all your needs and very knowledgeable on all the dishes and wine; The ambiance or decor is good. But if you guys are serious about French/Italian culinary cuisine, this is the place I highly recommend.

It's our first time dining here at 1917. We thought to splurge on good food and wine, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We tried their Valentine's menu, and it did not disappoint. It was a four-course meal that also included an appetizer with wine pairing. After we tasted the tuna tartare, we immediately thought that we were in for a high-caliber food experience. The executive chef, Chef Jo, delivered an excellent prix fixe course. He came to our table and explained the meal we were about to enjoy. Our server, Belle, is also knowledgeable and gave us a description of the wine. Though it's only an outdoor dining, the decor is simple yet classy. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to come back and try their other offerings.

I treated my husband here for dinner to celebrate his birthday & it did not disappoint. The outdoor Ambiance was nice & spacious. We did the wine tasting which included their Opaque red wine varietals & it was good. The price for the wine tasting was reasonably priced compared to other wine tastings we've gone to. We also received a free charcuterie each which was a nice touch to go along with the tasting. I really liked their goat cheese! Our server was super friendly & attentive. As the evening went on, we decided to order food to share. The Blue prawns with Black garlic puree was oh so delicious & the Burrata Classica was well balanced. We look forward to coming back to try their other tastings & try their other food items on the menu.

The 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro is the San Antonio Winery's outside restaurant. My family and I ate here on a beautiful morning, and I appreciated how great our food tasted. We ordered the funghi pinsa, speck pinsa, short rib hash, ziti tagliata, and blueberry brioche bread pudding. The pinsas (hand-pressed pizza) came flatbread style. The funghi wild mushrooms, mozzarella, scamorza affumicata, and truffle sauce. The speck had smoked prosciutto, San Marzano tomato sauce, and grilled radicchio, artichokes, and Fior di Latte cheese. My favorite pinsa, the funghi, had a lovely mozzarella taste. The ziti tagliata had bone marrow, wild mushroom, 24 month parmigiano reggiano DOP (Protected Designation of Origin), Calabrian chili, and veal jus. Note that the pasta doesn't have any meat but rather bone marrow, a more fatty type of main feature. I took some bites and enjoyed the pasta's sauce and texture. The short rib hash had poached egg, marble potatoes, heirloom carrots, pearl onions, braising jus. I took one bite of the short rib and it tasted so tender and delicious. The potatoes also looked really good, and I would've ordered this dish had I not the funghi pinsa. For dessert, we shared the blueberry brioche bread pudding. The dough had a delicious texture and creamy sauce. I would definitely order this for myself if I come back to this restaurant. As for ambience, the outdoor seating looked pretty to my eyes. The patio felt relaxing with Christmas music playing in the background. Guests can either sit at regular tables or cushioned seating for a more casual experience. Service was excellent, and our waiter prepared our drinks well. I'd highly recommend eating in the patio for brunch if one only ate at the indoor restaurant.
