wasn't open but unclear if it's permanent or temporary
Kind-a new to my eyes because the place is dark but it feels cozy too. The food is good too. Staff are really helpful and attentive.
Heard longstanding history of restaurant. Elegant, date or anniversary night occasion. Food was ok but maybe the price includes ambiance. Had their special sampling menu and heard the chef was new. It was good for special occasion being Fullerton local and not having to drive all the way to Newport for high class meal. Don't go in with high expectations
Great experience. Good ambiance and flavorful food. Entrance is a bit hidden but that was worst part of the night.
If you've never been here, I say surprising because when you walk into this place, it's literally like you're walking into a well - like, hole in the ground well - it's REALLY dark in there! Not a bad thing, just an observation. I actually really liked the dark atmosphere... it made it seem more private. But, GREAT food and great service at a reasonable LA price (of course I'd like it cheaper, but wouldn't we all?)
Keep your expectations low and that is what I did. I had a great time at Bitter End. Drinks are cheap and it doesn't get too loud so you can actually talk to your friends without having to scream. A good neighborhood bar, with a two floor setup. Good for games, groups, locals...has some pool tables and dart boards and sports on the TVs. Nice place to hang with friends!
We ordered the Americana Steak kit for four. It was very simple to order over the phone and we were given a time for pick up. Once we arrived at the restaurant we gave them our name and within a few minutes we had our meal kit ready. The package and presentation was done very well and even came with a personalized note and instructions how to prepare. All the steak cuts were of high quality and the sides as well. Our family enjoyed kit and we look forward to coming back to Bourbon for a sit down dinner in the near future.
My family & I eat dinner here often and we love their chicken kabobs. We definitely recommend eating here. On a side note though, they do run out of rotisserie chicken during dinner therefore I definitely suggest calling ahead to order or have the staff hold one for you if you're dining in.
Arsenal is the best restaurant in montrose. It's my family's go to sushi place when we don't have anything for dinner. The service is exceptional and the sushi is very fresh and delicious
$2 parking after validation and free entry under a guest list? Why not? Looking for photo perfect spots for your Instagram? Apt 503 is a cute little place that will fulfill your social media junkie needs! Keep in mind that I said that it was "little". In my opinion, they're more on the chill side than the crazy, party fun side.

"HELLO!" a man kept screaming after each comment he made; sometimes followed by a whistle. I have nothing against a happy drunk. Loud place even on a Monday night without Monday Night Football.Clean small renovated bar supporting local breweries. I tried Craftsman Heffeweizen out of Pasadena for the first time and it was delicious. Had to order a second round.I will have to try the food next time.
Stumbled in on my sisters bday! Bartender Aaron was AMAZING! He made us feel like we were at home! The drinks were good the overall bar was great met a bunch of good people who I will be hanging out with later. It was a very mixed crowd with a nice amount of bar seating and other seating. There was also a dart game going on on the corner that I noticed people came for! Great crowd. The new bartender that came in was also great I will. I will be referring to my friends and family and can't wait to come back!!!!!!!!
Greek food is not normally on my food list. But damn lamb chops they made were amazing. The gyro plate was well seasoned not overly done like some other places that I've had it. My wife had baklava and said it was really good. Although we also had the kabob beef and it was a bit lack luster. Very good food a bit on the spendy side but a night out once in a while not bad.
This place is one of a kind. A hidden gem, a hole in the wall tiki bar from the 60s. The atmosphere and drinks are outstanding. Like no place I've ever been to. It's tiny but that is what makes this place great.
Food was a bit tasteless (don't be scared of the salt ppl!) parking was around the corner for $8bucks (they close at 11pm) and the music and vibe was pretty chill all for a Thursday night.
