A Moment That Changed My Life , Through a Simple Act of Kindness

I’ve never written a review before, truthfully, I’m not much of a social media person. But this experience left such a deep impact on me that I felt compelled to share it.

Last week, I placed a mobile order at this location: a bagel with eggs and sausage. When I arrived to pick it up, I suddenly realized I forgot to add a second iced coffee to the order. I asked one of the staff members if I could purchase an extra coffee on the spot, and without hesitation, he handed it to me, completely free of charge.

I was stunned. Not just because I got a free coffee, but because of the sincerity and warmth behind the gesture. In today’s world, small acts like that are rare. It reminded me of something my grandfather,who I’ve always called my King, used to say:
“Money doesn’t make you rich. Attitude does. And if someone gives you a cup of coffee or tea, it means they have a pure heart.”

As it turns out, the man who handed me that coffee was the owner himself. We ended up talking for about seven minutes, and in that short time, I could feel the genuine kindness, passion, and integrity he puts into his business. He wasn’t just serving food, he was building community, one small moment at a time.

Here’s the twist: that forgotten iced coffee wasn’t even for me. It was for the person interviewing me that same morning, for an internship I’ve been hoping for years to get. That cup of coffee helped break the ice and set the tone… and yes, I got the internship.

Let that sink in:
One simple, generous act led to a major turning point in my life.
A cup of coffee became a key that opened a door to my future.

To the owner and the team: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You didn’t just hand me a drink, you gave me a moment I’ll never forget. Your kindness rippled into something far greater than you probably imagined.

Bagel Broker has been a consistent catering delivery restaurant for my office. Always super quick to respond, reliable, and can process large orders on short notice. Also for some orders have been very accommodating to any adjustments whether it be for any dietary restrictions, allergies, and how we'd like the order to set up for our events. Would definitely recommend this place to others if they're looking to place any catering orders. We have ordered bagels, breakfast burritos and sandwiches and all have quality taste. Benjamin is super friendly and great to work with!

If you’re a cream cheese lover, Bagel Broker is the place. Their spread selection is next-level from the classic plain (so rich) to the wild flavors like cheddar jalapeño , Lox and chives. It’s impossible to choose just one, so I usually don’t. Check them out Asap!

Breakfast burritos are extremely big delicious & comes in various meats & the even cater to no meat eaters
Vegan products available & taste great
Recently I had a turkey breakfast burrito @ a award ceremony It was so good & only ate half .. I was satisfied & full … The next day I warmed the other half up in the air fryer ..& it taste even better the next day
Bagel Brokers carries Croissant sandwiches etc… & is great for brunches etc…
