Good drinks, great waiters.

One of my current favorites in the city. The ambiance is warm and moody in the best way—perfect for a catch up dinner with freinds or date night. The food is consistently great, and what I really appreciate is that it doesn’t feel like your typical Hollywood scene. It’s relaxed, unpretentious, and welcoming. Owner Ben is often there, genuinely kind and always up for a friendly chat. You can tell he cares about the place and the people in it.

Absolutely delicious and stellar service. Perfect for date night at the bar or a cozy booth with friends. Truly feels like a special and indulgent evening.

This spot easily jumped to the top of my best of LA list with a menu serving hit after hit. Everyone will tell you about the burger, but don't overlook the rest of the menu. The twice baked potato, the chicory salad, the off-menu steak (incredible), and the key lime tart! Great for a sexy date night, dinner with friends, or solo at the bar. See you there.

One of our favorite restaurants in LA. We usually come here for some burgers. But all the items on the menu are incredible. (The kale salad is my favorite!!) The atmosphere is classic, elegant and comfortable not pretentious. Everything is as it should be. This is the restaurant you should visit over and over when you are around the neighborhood.

I have been looking forward to eating at the Benjamin for a while now and last night I managed to secure a 9:15 booking. The restaurant was very busy and it did feel a little crammed. The food was good, deviled eggs and the orange chicken were delicious. I will say that the food is overpriced though.
The upstairs bar which has just opened is the crown jewel in my opinion. The cocktails selection is unique and each one I tried was delicious.

We were in town for our daughter's wedding, and went with her and her fiance. A nondescript corner walks in to a luxe supperclub. Soft velvet booths line the wall, carpeting - you can have a wonderful conversation, and great food in the same place. The cocktails were nicely mixed, inventive enough without being over the top, just delicious. Had a few starters, loved the crab and hamachi (the eggplant was dull, for me). Not too many entrees, but we shared a burger and the branzino - both were perfect. The service stands out, it is friendly and careful, not something that is easy to find in LA. As a visitor, it was a perfect evening.

I went for an appetizer and drinks so I sat at the bar. Food was great! The orange chicken wings were really good. The drinks were also amazing. The bartender Rachelle took great care of us and made really good drinks. Overall a great experience!

Food was very good and the service was great. The hostess....bad. Bar is completely empty yet sits me in front of where bartenders mix the drinks. Faux wood bar and faux wood paneling on the walls.

This place is legitimately worth the hype. Service was incredible. The food was spectacular. We ordered the rolls, eggplant parm appetizer, orange chicken wings and the Benjamin burger. 10/10 would order each of these items again. Truly amazing. Will be back very soon!

The two things I really did enjoy about this place was the service and the ambiance. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and kind. The mood was very nice, lighting was good and music was just the right volume.

However, the food was not so good and that's the main reason you go to any restaurant. Some people will think the prices are what caused me to write this review, but even if this was a moderately priced restaurant the food would still be inadequate.

The onion dip with was bland and the chips were unsalted. Texture of the chips was good. Very light and crispy. The dip did have the sweetness from the onions but no other profiles. The orange chicken wings were nothing but sweet. It was as if the sauce was made from solely orange marmalade and then garnished with sesame seeds. The weren't very crisp, but this is more my preference. Some may prefer a more moist slightly under cooked exterior.

The spare rib was definitely the best dish we had. Extremely tender, juicy and great flavor combination.

The burger was okay. Fries were soggy, but at least these had some salt. The sweet pickle on the burger over powered everything else. Juicy but lacking in flavor.

It's as if the chefs don't believe in any of the flavor profiles. They said to hell with with savory and sour. Just make it all sweet. I would recommend not going here unless it's for a drink or even just dessert. Food was a complete let down unfortunately.

So enjoy this place. My second meal here and the food is delicious. Great casual yet sophisticated vibe. Art Deco furnishings just a super cool place to dine.

Everything was amazing - food vibes service - I’m so happy we finally got a res!!!! I can’t even pick a favorite dish - we ordered the dirty martini, Parker rolls, onion dip, wings, burger, twice baked potato, and the cookies with whipped cream. An insane amount of food for 2 people but literally everything hit, even if it is a pricer spot. But it’s LA what isn’t pricey lol. Shoutout to the GM Terry for crushing it

Given the ratings, infatuation review and chef reputation i expected it to be wonderful. The extreme arrogance of the team was appalling and they could afford to reach a book or two on hospitality.
